I miss T.O.P. (I know he's in Squid Game 2 as Thanos and it's interesting him playing an out of luck and broke K-rapper), but I hope he does return to give us another record at some point in the future - just wish he could have returned one last time for Mama. Nice to see Daesang doing his variety show stuff and Taeyang needs to go back to the top of the charts. As for Seungri, he's only slightly less pond scum than Kris Wu (hope he rots forever behind bars), but only getting 18 months in prison is criminal - I hope he stays irrelevant for the rest of his career - he robbed Big Bang of so many years.

FYI: When BigBang debuted (2006), KPop had their own "standards". But G-Dragon, the leader of BigBang (the guy with the red hair) doesn't want to follow that standard. He started breaking all the rules and boundaries, and on that journey made him received a lot of harsh criticism. But thanks to that, K-pop is becoming increasingly well-known internationally. You know, to create a whole new standard in the industry, you need someone who brave enough try new things, take all the risks and learn. No one but G-Dragon (GD) along with his group, BigBang, is willing to take that role. Trust the process, the more you learn about this group, especially GD, the more you'll see how amazing they are. (Well, except that one member i guess?) They've been through upside down, a lot. But they are still relevant today. Btw, Vogue Korea just dropped 6 cover with G-Dragon. And they put this in the description: "G-Dragon, a cultural icon and pioneer who has broken down the boundaries between music, fashion, and art, expanding new cultural frontiers" G-Dragon is the standard of the industry, along with BigBang.

He wrote and produced most of their songs, invented the lightstick, he's a fashion designer, artist and considered the King of Kpop, celebrity of celebrities and so much more. Bigbang are legends in Korea. Particularly G-Dragon, Taeyang (who sang Vibe with Jimin), and T.O.P. (yes, he's in Squid Game Season 2, I think his character is called Thanos) I think you'll like Shinee, too. Not as energetic as Bigbang, but they have a lot of good songs. Taemin, Jimin's friend, is one of their members. He's in excellent singer and dancer!

I am loving all the Big Bang reactions lately :) they are amazing. All four members (yes I know originally 5 but i am not including one on purpose) they are just amazing. TOP yes is in squid games season 2 😂 he’s such an amazing actor. I heard he played an ass hole and I laughed and said yep he would be able to pull that off he’s that good. I’m sure you have seen that three of them reunited and did a performance together which was amazing to watch. They are the kings of Kpop, they inspired many of the younger generations to persue their dreams of being idols and really did pave the way for future groups to push kpop to new heights. They are the idols of idols. G dragon (red hair guy) is just amazing, he wrote their songs and made it normal for idols to write their own music (groups used to be given songs and usually didnt have input on lyrics or concepts), he also came up with the first lightstick for VIPs ( their fandom). Prior to this, fandoms had distinct colors and would use balloons and glowsticks. They are all so amazing and have done a lot in their career. G Dragon also has dissed MAMA (a huge award show) at MAMA twice! Hes just so ... genius, swag, brilliant. I recommend famtastic baby for another club anthem, haru haru for an oldie but goodie, if you (bangkok live stage) for a ballad, loser for a change up, fool of tears to see where they got some of their early inspiration. Monster, bad boy, sober, bae bae, and f*ck it. Are good. Still life still hurts butnis so good. Go into their solos, you wont be disappointed. T.O.Ps doom dada is always a good trip, zutter (T.O.P. and GD) G-Dragons coup de tat, untitled, crooked and bullshit are so good. I love Daesung's look at me gwisun for a nice trot break, and Taeyang (disclosure, Taeyang is my ultimate bias) check out wedding dress, eyes nose lips (both the mv and the duet he didnwith a fan on fantastic duo) , i need a girl, shoong, youre my, amazin, ringa linga. The group was a five member group but both Seungri and T.O.P has left the group. Seungri left the group after his involvement with the Burning Sun club where it was revealed that it had been different illegal activities happening there. T.O.P chose to leave the group after his contract had ended. He had at the time some personal things he wanted to focus on. The female dancer Paris and some of her other dance crew has been in CL (2ne1) Hello Bitches mv they were also part of the performance on MAMA 2015 and I think they were part of the dancers that were on stage when BigBang performed that year too.

I remember one interview with the group before everything happened that T.O.P was worried of some of his friends or people that were around him that they may not be the best people to be around. Although TOP's appearance in SG has helped remind people of BB, he has pretty much removed himself from the group, preferring to pursue his acting career. He declined being involved in any BB comeback activities, so now we're down to three members, GD, Taeyang and Daeseung. Any resurgence of BB's popularity will be completely due to them.
