Phu will be so attached to Max and Max to him. They should never be given back due to stressful situations they both have had been given the situation they have been put in period. Also Hoang has had no phone contact with Phu that along is just wrong if he cares about Max truly!! No one knows where he is really!! Sick or not he has Family who can speak to Phu period. Sorry for his sickness but he is very disrespectful to Phu. Please Phu don’t ever give Max up because he already hurt & confused give him a stable loving home as you have done. Move on. By my guess Max dad has a serious illness, with many treatment s ahead of him. If and I p ray not, time is running out for Mr, Hoang. Mr, Hoang loves Max very much and if he is not contacting Mr. PHU IT MIGHT BE THAT there is something bad going on with Mr. Hoang and he doesn't want to give fake fault to Mr. PHU ND Max. He might feel that Max is better off with his friend because he knows that Mr. PHU will love and take real good care of him. .
