This reminds me so much of the conversations I had with my dad in his last year. Every time I came in the door it was as if he hadn’t seen me for a month, even if he’d just been to the next room for a minute. ❤

When I hear him telling this story it reminds me of our 4 year old grandson trying to describe an event he doesn’t quite understand putting all kinds of different things he’s heard into his imagination. Very sweet, hope he had fun “driving “ that old car😊

My great grandmother would tell me stories like that in great detail. Id ask her what year that happened and she’d say something like “1923” and then realize she was thinking about something long past. Its crazy how the brain works.
