I share Links feelings about the graduation so much. There’s nothing more infuriating in a public setting than people who think the rules don’t apply and act in a mind-blowingly inconsiderate fashion,ruining others’ experience. And they always wanna play the fool and act like they didn’t know any better. AGHH!😂😂

There's an epidemic of people who don't know how to act in public nowadays. My worst experiences recently have been at movie theaters. So many people just plain lack respect for other people anymore.

I had a guy put his bare feet by my head. I thought my hair claw came undone...and I reached over and a foot was on my head. Ewww. I went to the bathroom to wash my hand and changed seats because he would not stop kicking my seat. Finally I told my wife who is intimidating...and he changed seats too.

Link has defended twice the fact that he cuts into his freeway exit at the last minute, even if there's a long line of cars waiting to exit. Why does he give himself grace every day, but not to those parents on the most important day of their children's life so far. If he says his time is money, well, some of these parents may not have had the opportunity to leave their jobs/obligations to get in line 1.5 hours early like Link did. Personally I love Link, this is one of my favorite podcasts, and I watch every GMM and more. He's human that I look up to in many ways. So I'm not saying he's a bad person at all! Personally I don't cut in front of others, nor do I stand up when people are graduating, I think that's the only way to live. 😂 edited for grammar

I live in NC maybe 3 ish hours from Myrtle Beach. My husband and I went through Connecticut in mid November a couple years ago and it was so beautiful. All the trees were colorful and just was so nice driving through unlike driving through NY and NJ. We went to Salem, Massachusetts and drove all through Cape Cod for our anniversary trip. It rained pretty much the whole time, but we still had a nice time looking around and finding new places to learn about and good food to try.

We had been discussing a trip to Niagara Falls while visiting my Dad this week since he now lives somewhat closer in WV and we wrote it off. After seeing this podcast in my queue on KZbin Music we listened to it and decided to go! Greatest Father's Day trip for both of us as it involved my kids as well! P.S Don't take your poncho off right after the boat ride or you may end up committed to climbing to the Crow's Nest without it. 😂

Link, I feel your pain. I was at my son's band concert with 5 different bands of varying ages. This family next to us was letting their toddler play with a windup car up and down the aisles while the bands were playing. Other people were shooshing them, but they continued to let the kid play. The dad also took a phone call FROM HIS SEAT, so clearly the toddler will learn bad habits from his dad. People suck!

Graduations should ban balloons. They have in some high schools, and also banned from shouting just clap, no standing either. So people can hear the names. In college graduations every thing is banned because it is more professional. We still did a whistle a horrah (she is a marine)but just small enough to not be disrespectful.
@katc2040 Жыл бұрын
People clap and scream anyways and then when the students who parents listen or maybe don't have a big family it seems like nobody cheers for them which is why they have the rule in the first place so irs annoying people will just decide to not listen

I am a Mythical Beast for sure lol. I love watching these two lifelong friends bringing me entertainment everyday. I have found that through their extra podcasts ie. ear biscuits, rhett&link, dispatches from Myrtle Beach.. I gain more insight into their true character beyond their morning shows. I listen to them on my over hour long commute.. I really enjoy it.. I literally pulled over on the side of the road to say this: KUDOS Link for calling out inconsiderate a-holes that see them selves and themselves only in an environment such as a graduation. Kudos for saying that clicks don’t matter with regards to self awareness and personal integrity in a situation where there are MANY people of whom are there for personal reasons and calling them out on their bullshit . (To the point you said FINE don’t watch me if you don’t like what I’m saying) Also, great kudos to your dad.. for waxing that myrtle beach feel that laid on you like a salve and said son, focus on the good. Mathis was the best one ever. It was real, organic, and I appreciated seeing authenticity. Thank you for lending yourselves to the world, and I am proud that you all can reap in that benefit. Keep it real. Keep me smiling. Keep being YOUR Mythical Best. -Judy

The graduation could all be fixed with an alphabetical system broken down to numbered tickets and a line. When you're kid I going up your number is called. And this is from someone 8 beers deep, would've thought a college could do better

The way people were acting at that graduation ceremony really reveals how selfish and stupid a lot of people are now adays. If you surround yourself with decent mannered intelligent people you thankfully get to forget they exist 😂
