Was a phenomenal day for you two. My Dad was also positive and pretty upbeat thru his dementia journey. He made it to 91. Dad loved many sports with golf topping the charts. Avid football fan and held KC Chiefs season tickets since 1967. He would be very proud of his Chiefs. Extremely proud of Coach Daly winning 10 AFC, coaching 8 out of last 10 of the last Super Bowls and coach received his 6th SB ring. Definitely rooting in the WolfPack section in Heaven alongside coach’s FIL. Seeing Gpa’s Auburn shirt brought back many fond memories with my father. Auburn’s former football coach Gus Malzahn was my daughter’s health teacher and High School Football Coach where they won state her senior year and year following her graduation. Many fond memories with Dad and sports was a big part of Dad’s life with his 3 girls and wife. Enjoy every moment together. It flies by fast. You are a super caregiver Dan. Your Father is extremely fortunate to have you and your family. I love to hear how sweet he talks about his ex-spouse, your Mom.
