I just got off the phone with my Mom who is 87 and lives in NC with my sister and her husband, and she told me my sister won't let her walk alone anymore (she fell and has recovered) I told her Mom it's not that you can't still go for walks, you just need someone to go with you. Was a phenomenal day for you two. My Dad was also positive and pretty upbeat thru his dementia journey. He made it to 91. Dad loved many sports with golf topping the charts. Avid football fan and held KC Chiefs season tickets since 1967. He would be very proud of his Chiefs. Extremely proud of Coach Daly winning 10 AFC, coaching 8 out of last 10 of the last Super Bowls and coach received his 6th SB ring. Definitely rooting in the WolfPack section in Heaven alongside coach’s FIL. Seeing Gpa’s Auburn shirt brought back many fond memories with my father. Auburn’s former football coach Gus Malzahn was my daughter’s health teacher and High School Football Coach where they won state her senior year and year following her graduation. Many fond memories with Dad and sports was a big part of Dad’s life with his 3 girls and wife. Enjoy every moment together. It flies by fast. You are a super caregiver Dan. Your Father is extremely fortunate to have you and your family. I love to hear how sweet he talks about his ex-spouse, your Mom. Makes me chuckle as maybe someday my ex-spouse will recognize the positive side as well. Time and grace heals all.

Hello from IRELAND 🇮🇪🇮🇪 I Love watching the interaction and love you have with your dad Dan. I watched lots of your videos and can see how close you both are. When you’re out with your family your dad was going home with Mark but he was asking where Dan was. 😊 I looked after my mom for 5 years till she passed away 16 months ago at 99 years young. 😊. God bless you and your family Dan You are making beautiful memories and these videos will be great to look back on. Take care 🥰

My mom and I moved my 93yr old Grammy in with us in February. She has had dementia for many years & after a fall in November 2022 she’s needed a lot more care. You and your family are so inspiring to me and encourage me so very much! Care giving is hard! Even on the best of days I fall into bed so exhausted!! Thank you for sharing these moments with us: it truly helps to know we aren’t alone!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
