Everyone that truly knows music can agree with what Daddy Andre was saying; and before we learn this our music shall always play just in Uganda and for 2 months at the most. And to you Artin, Andre wasn't trying to downplay you or your brand in fact it is Galaxy TV that is trying to turnish the brand of Daddy Andre; shame on you guys. This is why our music is stagnant.

@segandan You don't correct people on air. Actually you don't have to defend Andre or his motives any longer because what he did spoke volumes about his intentions. You don't start listing people then pause, reject someone and continue to justify why you're rejecting them. That aside! When did you see MTN or Airtel explaining the works or methods used by the other? Ugandan music industry suffers from lack of professionalism. Someone will talk ill about your brand on air and expect to walk away freely. This is not a family that you wake up one day and blame everyone for everything just because you have a roof over their heads. Its business and people have invested time and money to get to where they are. If Andre had a heart for this industry, he would approach these people and present his issues respectfully because there isn't any grudge between them. His act wasn't ethical. It wasn't professional and that's what we condemn. We can have all the good stuff like copyright and structures to benefit the industry but unless we carry the business off the streets and back into the offices, it's all in vain. It was bad and we should condemn it. Finally... When you take something from a supermarket without paying, you don't justify your act by saying you're hungry or in a hurry for a meeting or preparing to get somewhere. You could as well have asked for something to eat respectfully at the counter and they'd give it to you.

@@mikoalwayz very length reply but in summary you have already passed against verdict on Andre. Clearly it means you didn't watch this interview anyways it's unfortunate Galaxy TV delibarately wants this picture on Andre the man who clearly had good intentions for saying whatever he said. About educating the producers and musicians, Andre has made it a point to share his knowledge with whoever is willing to listen but the industry wants the easy route. And by the follow up of the discussion it shows that the industry is not yet ready for true development. This is why Nigerian musicians are far ahead of us. About the copyright, I am sure 90% of the artistis don't even understand it, and it's not the reason why there is no music in the industry. About media misusing it's influence well this won't be the first time so Galaxy TV is just doing what others have done before. If Andre is wrong then Galaxy is wrong too for building a mountain out of a mould hill. Peace to you and thanx.

From the marketing point of view; I suggest you push through with that show of yours( Artin Pro) it shall be a huge success but reach out to Daddy Andre first to clarify on the matter such that you resolve any bad blood. To the team on this interview, just because Daddy Andre has some issues doesn't take away his talent or knowledge of music.

Artin Pro is not to blame here, but Galaxy TV presenters for fuelling a rivalry between Artin Pro and Daddy Andre. But remembering that they're the same guys that embraced Alien Skin when no media brand would promote him, I know they're just their promoting their brand unfortunately this time they chose a hurtful move for the industry in the long run.

Galaxy TV it is a shame, that you delibarately waged a way between the two producers. I watched that interview with Daddy Andre and what he tried to do was to explain in great detail the music industry and the music business. And he clearly stated that Artin Pro was good.

think production is all about creativity, making un impossible happen. so Daddy andrew sometimes if you fear interviews better call for them and they find you at your place. how dare you compare Artin to selectors. people you should check up and go back you learn some other things you dont know. you cant even describe what a producer is?
