I am seriously waiting on what the Supreme Court have to say on this to the high courts….not really about this case….cos the high court granting dissolutions are the problem….how do you keep woman for many years…she was 32 when she filed…. At after nine years… she is 41…. That’s already advanced maternal age for women who stil want children…putting her life at risk during pregnancy and childbirth….Nigeria judiciary system ain’t fair abeg

Why should a. woman whose divorce is taking 10-12 years to finalize be held to a standstill?. . Is it unlawful for her to move on with her life while waiting for d final judgment or even enter into another relationship?. I doubt if such laws exist but if they do Nigerian women need to wake up from their slumber . We truly need to hear her own side of d story.

According to the law,it is unlawful for her to move on to another relationship and that's why some people always refuse to sign. Even when it is taken to court these set of people will always find reason not to show up at court just to drag the case for years.

@@oliviaoge8178 A lot of people know this about the law that is why they remain unmarried until the divorce is completely over. It is painful seeing someone who hurt you for years winning over you and that is what this woman and DF are facing now. The hurt of paying #5m to someone who hurt her for years. I have seen comments saying the man knacking another man is it not adultery,it is adultery but she didn't sue and he sued her when she moved on and the court has reached a verdict according to the law. Thankfully the man is more interested in money and not ending her because if he had sued her for bigamy she would have been jailed.

He can't say much now because they case is in court. That's how law works. Men always do that when their wives leaves as a result of any form of abuse. Women go through a lot their marriages. Listen to what Nkechi CEO went through in her marriage. The ex husband is only after the money not his children, his not even saying his fighting over child custody of the kids.

If this is really judged legally, as long as there was a separation leading to a divorce, DF is clear. Again, if the divorcing parties, the victims disposition is real, and the separation/ divorce has gone past two years, in most cases, DF and his wife are in the all clear. I also don’t know why the abuser is dragging his victim bc it’s been more than five years and he is also an *Agege resident living in PH. TBuds already told her story on YT when everything was on going.

DF cannot be cleared because the divorce has not been finalized so the woman was still legally married to the ex. Even if one has been separated from the husband for years before divorce proceedings those years are still counted among the years of marriage.
