Please do not give her advice that she didn’t ask you for. You should learn a term called consent. That way when you walk into someone’s home you first thank them for allowing you in their space during their intimate moments which their blessings their children. These parents are very capable and amazing parents. Raising their children in a healthy and beautiful home. They have a network of people that they actually know vs. strangers online just randomly leaving their opinion based on the way they do things. Respect is necessary when you walk into someone’s space and good manners are. Simply saying hello and introduce maybe introduce yourself. Establish some type of basic rapport & understanding of who they are who they aren’t, what they do & don’t appreciate. That way eventually you can ask consent to give your opinion and advice. When you show interest in someone else’s life. You automatically care about their boundaries and rules in their home if your presence is genuine, When people feel respected and like you have a genuine interest in them they are more likely to at least hear you out. When you come in the door just throwing advice around, you’re being inconsiderate of the obvious as well as somethings that may be laying beneath the surface. Some moms may be triggered when you give the, unasked for advice maybe because they grew up with overbearing elders. Or had someone in their life who constantly gave advice because they thought they were not good enough, smart enough or not equipped. Which is definitely not the case with these blessed, responsible, beautiful and positive parents. Hopefully moving forward as you continue to comment and engage with people you don’t know. Especially moms who have just given birth and her hormones are still settling down and sometimes can feel extra sensitive. You can consider these factors and say hello, ask consent & check in if it’s ok to add a suggestion or just say hello, you’re doing a great job or nothing at all and just enjoy watching this family grow, stretch and evolve. The way that works for their family. Also all CAPS aren’t necessary if they want to acknowledge you they will and I doubt they will want to when you’re yelling CAPS. They’re a pretty patient and kind couple that has tolerance if it were me you’d be blocked. Not because something is wrong with you but because your approach would be wrong for my space. I will choose me and protect my space and peace over a person who does this everywhere they go. One thing I know about people and their patterns and habits is that it doesn’t start with you and it won’t end with you. But it will end in my space
