Today was our 1st day selling & I feel your pain Rachel, re the wind. My tent is heavy duty & 3 times the wind tried to take it away bc we forgot the weights. That was it, my daughter ran back to my house to grab the weights while 2 of us got on opposite corners & stood there, looking like idiots,lol, holding it until she got back. So I had 20# on ea leg ( the kind that slide on) & that did the trick but didn’t keep my tumbler bags from falling down. I finally just put them in a crate & displayed them like that. We just planned on going out today & tom to show our face, not expecting any sales but was surprised bc we did pretty well. It was hot & humid so we’ll be wearing shorts tom. I’d rather fight the cold like we did at Christ.,then to deal with the wind & heat! I pray before your day was over that sales picked up for u. I’m going to pray that your son feels better soon & that the flu doesn’t run thru your family. Blessings to u & your family. That’s just horrible, shooting over shoes!! So very sad.
