It's important to note that there is both a normal team series captain and a live team series captain for each team. The first will also apply to legends and flashbacks while the latter only applies to live series cards, and the latter cards give far stronger captain boosts as a result.

The Jeter captain card really caught my eye with the boost to all hitting captains cards, with how many cards we get for free + LS collections, definitely not the greatest boosts but +15 contact both sides and batting clutch really made my team feel a lot better

These are huge. Wild card a captain you get supercharged live series and any card tagged with a team. I have the best lindor and McNeil card that’s ever been out boosted by Alonso, along with David wright and even have 4 bombs with francisco Alvarez. It’s awesome

Who should I use at Catcher, I've been doing the Team Affinity Mini Seasons and need a Catcher, you can't use any of the WBC cards unfortunately, I've been using the Supercharged Adley but he'll go back down soon, is the Joe Mauer AL Central Collection worth it?

Trevor Hoffman is dirty, especially if you are using storylines because that boosts starting pitchers and hitters so combined with Hoffman you get every part of your team boosted

The one thing I wish they did with the theme teams was being able to change the players team. Like Madden you could have Mookie Betts on a Red Sox theme team since he played for them in the past.

I wish you could choose whether your captain for your team was a pitcher or position player, because I don’t want Chris Sale for the Red Sox since I need so many pitchers to get a small boost, and the point of a theme team is more geared towards position players

Off topic but i haven't really pulled many diamonds at all, but the ones i have pulled are crazy.
