I will not agree with you on the bond between mother and children. The principal thing, is that the atmosphere in the home is 90% the determining factor. If couples are friends in the first place, honouring, respecting one another, thereby having a strong bond, it is hard for children to come inbetween them. Such couples will always talk things over, plan the dynamics of the home together. So even when either if them does things for the children they will not pin the favour as coming from that parent. It will be seen as the idea of both parents. On the other hand when parents do not move in the same direction, the children are the first to decode, trust me! And the children will always leverage on that for their own advantage. Then if the father is a dictator in that home, it makes the children and their mother his victims. So in future, it is only natural for the children to more sympathetic towards their mum. On the contrary, the loving parents who also have respect for one another will have adult children that honour that tradition they built in the home. That is why even after the children have left home these parents are still close as ever. If any of the parents visit they will want to know the arrangement, like how long he or she can stay. And none of such parents can ever spoil the minds of the children against the other. Unfortunately, that is what Daddy Freeze is calling ABROAD MENTALITY. Please our people should uderstand what marriage entails before signing in.
