I’m just noticing some of the possible connections with the themes of the song It’s crazy that DPS said “I had 2 paths I could’ve went down” right before the Sukuna callback, another villain we learn is low-key just crashing out at the world for how he was treated. Secondly, McGwire’s verse connecting with lines like the John Wilkes Booth reference, the guy who killed Lincoln for freeing the slaves(Todoroki was able to be liberated from his dads actions), “I hate the way they forgave you”. I’m simply making connections, I love all the subtext and undertones DPS has in here, this is ART!
