This Dadra is outstanding! Shows bhav and tayyari of the highest order. Who says that thumri and dadra are upshastriya sangeet? It has all the pleasures of the khayal with the beauty of bhav. I have been listening to it once every day throughout the lockdown and it never fails to touch me. My deep appreciation for Subhamita ji, Srikanto ji and Kuntal ji. Subhamita ji deserves to be heard on the national stage. I happened to stumble upon this video on KZbin by pure chance!

There are many old school classical musicians who don't like kaushiki ji's singing, as I heard Girija Devi, purnima Chowdhury, Nirmala Devi, shobha gurtu ji and many more, whatever I can say that subhamita ji follows their footprints. Once she sang Jaunpuri at SRA, she just nailed it.
