To the dilemma at the end with the person at university I went through the same thing with going to brick uni ages away from my home and hated it, I knew it wasn’t right and trusted my gut and moved back home. Instead after a couple of years of working and gaining experience on the job I completed a degree through open university online which I could do at my own pace and still getting valuable life experience working and meeting different people. I’m now 26 with work experience straight from college and a degree which I’ve found so much more beneficial for my career. There are always other options than the standard university route and I’d highly recommend that way to anyone struggling x love this podcast

Uni advice for whoever needs it especially of ur struggling to make friends in accommodation/on ur course: join a society. Every uni has some and there's so many to choose from sports, to games clubs, to performing related ones. There's one for everyone and you'll find ur niche within it❤❤❤

Joel you are right. There has been a scholar study done about what the platforms are pushing and how they are affecting peoples reactions. It is a algorithm that the different platforms are using, some provoke anger, some saddness, ect... I reallllllllly would suggest, I know you wont read the scholarly study done about it, BUT if you feel this way you and Sar, keep the 2 youngest kids off these platforms. I am actually doing a study about this exact topic at the moment, and let me tell you its effects that are being seen on actual brain wave activity is shocking...... Joel you would freak... and remember the 2 babies brains haven't full developed yet, IF... thats if they are on these platforms thre is irreparable damage already. (Not being shady, just informative)
