Many parts of this song I feel a strong connection to because it kinda echoes how I felt when my mom died earlier this year. I went through waves of grief but then would quickly switch to an "oh well. Get over it," attitude. I have many friends that have been nothing but kind, thankfully, but without the one person that was always there for me, I feel completely alone despite their love and friendship. It's a weird feeling... Thanks as always for the music, man 😄💛
