Is just me or eurosport focuses on throwing events more than any other sport's channel? It was a grate competition,too bad that murofushi couldnt throw this well in london :(

You are wrong! The hammer throwers are the fastest and most explosive from all throwers! The hammer throw is the most difficult event of all of the throws!

This is all wrong. You need to be really explosive as a hammer thrower, just as you need to if you're a shot putter og discus thrower, doesn't matter. When you land you right leg after the single-support phase, if you are not explosive enough you wont be able to implement enough power into the hammer - also, you want the hammer to be behind you - if it's in front of you, you can't do jack shit with it. There's a reason heavy squats and power cleans are really good for hammer throwing.

rathalack doesnt know anything we can say, hammer to be behind body haha... have u seen any 80meters throwers with hammer behind body, ffs... i have learned hammer from Tore Gustafsson who is from sweden and also coach of Koji Murofushi, i think i know what im talking about... How could something be explosive if u got 2 legs at ground when pushing the ball? guys please stop talking bullshit...
