I'm worried about our fav Targaryen sociopath. Now that he has Rhaenrya and family, what will he be capable of to protect them? Viserys said he named Rhaenrya as his heir to protect the realm from Daemon.

He was the one who led the blacks to victory at the end. Viserys was just a weak king and a bad ruler. He chose to hear counsels from the leach, Otto and the power hungry lords in the court. He should have listened to Daemon about Otto. It's all his fault that killed the Dragons, his own family. Even though Daemon was a sociopath, he understood the game of thrones well and made sure that his sons would sit on the throne. He captured King's Landing for Rhaenyra. He did everything he could. He did a suicidal attack on Vaghar to destroy the greens just to make sure Rhaenyra sits on the throne.

@@venkatesanganeshan1149 I have not read the book, but there are a few book readers who are saying Daemon will betray Rhaenyra. I cannot see this and it sounds as if you also refuse it. The writer's are now trying to objectively work out Rhae and Daemon's relationship moving forward to Season 2. The one thing that redeems Daemon's character is that he loves his Targ family. If not Daemon would be straight up villain. I could see him giving his life up for Rhaenyra and his sons - the ultimate redeemable sacrifice at his end will be his family. That's where Daemon always goes back to.

@@lisas3545 Daemon will not betray Rhaenyra in the books. He captured King's Landing for her. And then he left King's Landing and went to Harrenhal to be with Nettles. So, it's not exact betrayal.

@@venkatesanganeshan1149 I read DoTD on Wiki and that's not what it said. There were three different sources and two are questionable. Mushroom is a source but doesn't exist. Another from a Maester who was not alive at the time but wrote about it 100 years after the fact. Then, there is a small line that Nettles was deeply hurt by Jace' death. THAT is the only truth I can see. She's like 17 (Jace's age) and Daemon is pushing 50. He spared Rhaenyra at that age because he loved her, but we are to believe he is going to start an affair with a 17 yr old half Targ while his family are being threatened? Also, he is too focused on protecting his family to become involved. I think Jace will fall in love with her and have an affair. This was foreshadowed by Aegon during dinner party. Jace will most likely die, and Nettles will die along with her dragon avenging him.

I'm very critical of tributes because you're trying to hype up a character or show your favoritism to said character. Daemon Targaryen is a badass and it is only fitting he gets a badass song that compliments but doesn't overpower the clips he's in. I think you did a pretty good job honestly. Your song wasn't over the top, it wasn't unfitting or out of place, and it blended decently with a lot (not all) of the clips you chose.
