I really like this person...you see...I watched this episode..and the guy who said he didn't expect anything (the one in blue) he is good but he keep on saying things like he would win or etc...it make me feels like he is too proud instead of confident meanwhile this person stayed low but is actually very good and he is very humble...I really like him and his attitude

I am actually watching this Dancing High because of Jisung because our baby Jisung can finally showcase his dancing skills more now with this program but as I was watching this I got caught up by him usually in a competition like this you will make a performance that can really showcase your skills but you see the quiet ones are usually the monster, I like his vibe when dancing he just not showcase his skills but he also convey the meaning of the song by his dance-and that's the true meaning of dancing even if it is a competition I can say that he just want to enjoy and dance on that stage and more importantly I like his attitude he is not boustful unlike the other guy who is very boustful on his popping blah blah hehe. You've gain a fan here 😊 hehe I will root for Jisung and you at the same time, hope that Jisung and you can be friends here because you can learn many things w/ each other. FIGHTHING!!💚💚

ugh! the scores the others dancers gave to each other still urk me throughout these first 2 episodes. I know the judges explained it as there being a competitive mindset/aspect to why they don't want to give each other high scores, but that just drags everything down. Yes this is a competition, but ultimately you all should want to be proving how amazing dance is and wanting to improve Korean society's views on it---not dragging each other down out of competitive nature. Societal views can really drag on the minds of youth.....

ughhh!! YES!! My mom and I were watching the show together and we both got mad how the kids gave such low grades... Like I wouldn't have given lower than a 65 at least to anyone unless they messed up big time and fell or something

I was surprised by the low scores, but I didn't mind it. The important thing was they were consistent and gave higher scores to the kids who deserved it. You can just add 20 points to all the scores in your head if the low numbers bother you :) I don't think the score actually makes a difference to how the audience perceives the performance or dance in general.

@@Pos1t1veThinking I do understand what you are saying. But it's bothering me because this speaks to the mindset of society in Korea today where you feel the need to drag others down out of fear. And especially because these are all kids--they aren't even adults and they already have these mindsets. I don't find it healthy (& where I'm from is of course no less competitive & I dislike it just the same). HEALTHY COMPETITION exists--where you push yourself to better yourself from seeing other's capabilities rather than wishing them to be worse than you or dragging them down

It's not just the mindset in Korea. This is the mindset of anyone who is competing with someone else, of course, you wouldn't want to give them too high of a score because that might put you at risk. That is one of the dangers of having the competitors score their own competition and is why most shows don't do it, the scores will never be the actual scores that they believe someone deserves because you don't want to admit that someone is better than you. Of course, they are going to be even more harsh against their competition because it is televised and they are all probably worried about their own performance. If they give their competition a really high score but then end up going badly, then they would have put themselves in danger when everyone's goal is to get into the top 10. The producers of the show and the judges knew what they were doing when they put the kids up for judging each other. If you have someone judging their own competitors you might as well forget about the scores being fair or what people actually deserve. Yes, they were trying to use the scores to drag each other down but that is just competitive nature and nothing is going to change that.
