Also, he's in an environment where he should kind of keep his image and he's technically not allowed to express like other teenagers there, he's an idol after all and NCT is not really a small group (in Korea at least).

In my opinion, she cares too much about her being pretty and good to look at as a girl now, her movements are all pretty movements but looking at her back then when she was younger, she does poppings, locking, she does dance as it is and not caring about wether it'd be pretty to look at as a girl. It's ok to be pretty and sexy, but I wish she would pay more attention to her actual movements than what she looks like to others.

I don't know why people are so sore over the fact that she's being given attention for her visuals. In Korea, physical beauty is an important social capital. It is the same (if not more) important than skill and social status. That being said, she will have to work hard to not just be a "pretty" face. In many ways, being beautiful can be a reason for people to not take you seriously. Could we just stop hating on her because she happens to be pretty. She's a decent dancer. I for one enjoyed how she played the crowd and their initial impressions. She worked the room. Charisma and stage presence are important too! In this case, she really WERKED it.

On Kpop Star she was called a dance prodigy and even made it further than Sejeong and Soyeon, who were also contestants during that same season (Sejeong mainly for singing and Soyeon mainly for dancing, of course). But on PD101, Sejeong and Soyeon were given more screentime and were known as former Kpop Star contestants. Meanwhile, Minjung was barely shown and, as far as I know, never mentioned (MNET, you snake). If Minjung is dancing like this instead of how she usually dances because of what happened on PD101 (where feminine and/or quirky girls gained more attention that powerful dancers), then I don't blame her. But this is about dancing now, not being an idol. She can and should dance to her heart's content. If not, then maybe she's just experimenting or just changed her style since then?? Idk but I just know she can do more...

I think that Produce 101 really affected her a lot. In the show, she was still have her boyish image. She still did all of the popping and locking things. Despite all of the talents that she showed she was still eliminated at a low rank (as we all know, you need to have either a super pretty face or a super unique story to stand out in such shows). I guest that is why she changed her image. I still miss her old image though. She just changed from a queen to just a normal, ordinary pretty girl.
