Mechanical being better, is old mindset. Long as a membrane keyboard allows 6+ keys to be pressed at once, its good. When membranes used to crap out with 3+ key presses at once, which is horrible for gaming. While any true mechanical keyboard, you can press all keys at once and they work. Hell some membranes these days allow past 25+ keys pressed at once. Mechanical going to last longer though... I really like the click clack, sorta soothing to me like a water fountain.
