Leuke theorie allemaal. Maar....door het verleggen van de focus op de start, is Dafne de versnelling op de laatste 30 meter kwijt! En daar gaat het nu juist om. Ze compenseerde voorheen een van nature wat tragere start (waar hebben we het over?) met een flitsende eindsprint. Die is nu weg want de energie is er niet meer. Het effect is dat je op het eind te hoge zweefmomenten krijgt omdat het brein zegt meters maken ipv snelheid. Door de explosiviteit in de start te leggen, wat bij Dafne tegennatuurlijk is, ontstaan er nu ook blessures en is er ‘vormverlies’. Dafne, terug naar je oude stijl, is mijn advies...

Ik ben het eigenlijk wel met je eens. Ik heb haar start trouwens nooit zo traag gevonden, in verhouding tot haar lichaamsgewicht.

It's a Dutch tv program. In short: the two men behind the laptop talk about her starting technique and how she can make that more perfect. The leg that is behind does not make contact to the ground soon enough. When she lies on the massage table they talk about the shape of her feet which has a strong curvature and that is good because then the feet do not make full contact. Good sprinters make noise when they run because they put their feet down with force.
