Overwatch rank only updates every 5 or so wins ( or alternatively 7 losses) so if you watched the previous video the rank is irrelevant since you more or less know where he started

Dafran is nuts at every character and advances with them so quickly. I was inspired to play Doom and was about to win my first game when my team was up 1-0 in KOTH. Then too many ppl on the other team left halfway into the next point that the game just ended and put me directly into queue without any message or anything. Win didn't count either. it's happened 2 additional times since then and this is all in 1 week.

When people leave enough for the game to end early (not counting match cancels in the first minute of a game) you get the win credit

@@marred I didn't get the credit tho. I was counting my weekly's and didn't get credit on my flex queue games. It was quicklplay so there's no warning to people for leaving. The game prob doesn't care if qp finishes so it just cancels the game if it can't backfil it. Just super annoying or a bug

Dafran if you want to get of a sticky situation fast, you can look up click slam then punch immediately after you can go up to some sky barriers if you do it correctly.

I mean new accounts just rank up little faster due to the system preventing smurfs being in lower ranks for a lot of time but there is no tips to climbing either than just focus on your gameplay, try to get mechanically better, if possible have comms and talk and dont tilt and rage and understand the fact that you lose some and win some

comms are so important. at the least, you should be in team chat so you can hear call outs, etc..if you aren’t talking on mic

There is no grinding. If you are better than diamond simply play and you'll rank out of diamond. However if you aren't better than diamond you will need to understand the things you do wrong every game. I recommend grinding the shit out of quickplay, trying new things, and seeing what works. Then when you feel like you have learned a lot more about how to play against the people who give you trouble or how to play on maps that you are bad at your winrate naturally will go up and you will win more.

@immafatzn You don’t need comms to climb because the overwhelming majority of comms in random lobbies are trash. Mute chat and leave vc if you want to climb no cap you’ll build game sense way faster

@@jphanson was gonna say this too. comms even in high elo tends to be people saying shit you should know without anyone saying it. Like "rein has shatter" great that helps no one here because we all know he has shatter and how to play around it lmao. Sometimes those are the comms that fuck your whole team up too. I've had my voice and text chat turned off this whole season and hit all my new highs lol.
