But in light of yesterday's sad news, I decided to finally put on some good headphones and give it a proper listen. And, it is truly AMAZING. A masterpiece! Alright, first off, thank you so much for putting these on soundcloud. Makes it a lot easier to listen to em. The fact that there's sub 100 likes on each song is baffling. I find almost every song you've uploaded here to be incredible. For example, "so we put a click" is absolutely genius. The instant crush track is phenomenal. The steam machine/doin' it right crossover made my girlfriend, who doesn't love DP, absolutely lose her shit. Fragments of time - prime time of your life. Yet again genius. Also the CLU track is phenomenal. Been sleeping on that one (and most of the Tron tracks in general) If I could be critical of absolutely anything, it would be the ending. If you ever felt like revisiting this type of project again, I would love an encore track. Touch is already a perfect song (my favorite DP song, maybe song in general ever) but I feel like it needs some type of representation. Maybe that with some too long? If not, I understand. It's just so good, I want more!!! Thank you so much for making this! Subbed!

When I was 5 or 6 I heard "Around The World" and couldn't help but emulate the voice chanting into a pvc pipe laying around since I was on site of house my uncle was building. Later in 6th grade I would literally run home from school to catch "One More Time" on Mtv's TRL. I thought they were these super heroes that would one day achieve world peace with their music as I watched Interstella 5555. They're the reason I do what I do, and why I will never give up on my dreams or that of any one else's around me. Thank you Daft Punk. And also dude...the mix is bitchin.is there anywhere we can download it? Or is that like....not allowed.

@Nitoxym4 жыл бұрын
After tens of careful listening (SoundCloud and KZbin), here is my detailed thoughts about this. Of course, this is 100% my opinion, everyone will have a different one. TLDR; this is a master piece! I'll start with negative things, as there isn't a lot to say, so we keep the best for the end. First, Give Life Back To Music / I Feel It Coming don't blend that well. There are a lot of parts which looks like the two musics playing simultaneously with a few effects. It isn't like a lack of effort, but I think a lack of ideas about what to do. Then, in Giorgio By Moroder / Technologic, the synth sequence of Giorgio By Moroder isn't correct. If you listen carefully the original music, you will hear that the sequence of the mix has a misplaced note. That's it for the bad part. For the good part, there are a lot more things to say. Before we focus on the full track itself, you understood that the crowd is fully a part of the Alive set. If you would not have put it, the set would be less realistic and more empty. Firstly, in the intro, you really understood how Daft Punk are working. A very slow start, to finish faster and with a rise. The pause between the next track is a very good element, to "prepare the crowd" for the drop. Then, even if I said bad things about GLBTM / IFIC, this doesn't contains a lot of effect, to keep the best for after. After that, GBM / Technologic is a really good mix (my favorite). You respected the format of the original GBM, which contains several music genres, and you followed the idea. The blends with the "click" of Giorgio and DP is perfect, they were made for that. Next, IC / Burnin' / HBFS feels separated. It make me remember about TVRTN / Crescendolls, which are separated at the beginning, then join together. You made the same it the same way, and it is awesome! I love how you made your own keyboard sound in Within / HAL / ATW. It really makes it unique, and the contrast with slow music and rhythmic music is very well done. FoT / PToYL / R&S really remind me Alive's TPToYL / The Brainwasher / R&S, even if I think that R&S is not a good music nowadays, the way you made it mix is so great! Then, The Grid / FtF is really greatly mixed. Both of them look like they were made for. The voice introduction of The Grid fits perfectly, and the track couldn't be made without it. What do I want to say about Derezzed / Stronger... This is also my favorite one, and both of synths fit perfectly each other, and Kanye's voice over it makes it even better. Next, DiR / SM is like IC / Burnin' / HBFS. The tracks are firstly separated, then joined. Very well made! I love DF / OY / SoF / Starboy for how DF cuts all the 3 others, with the voice of The Weekend periodically. I don't have much to say about RR / CLU, except that they are also great! GL / OMT, two hits of DP made up together, that's a perfect mix, and the high voices over beautifying it! Finally, Contact / AD / OMT/ SH / Alive is so great! The ending is very similar to Alive's. To conclude, I would say that you made a perfect job. I listened to many others Alive sets, and yours is by far the best! As you wrote in the description, your music-making experience is worth what I listened, and I would personnaly love to know how you realized all the musics. Before I listened your set for the first time, I was saying that most of RAM couldn't be mix in an Alive set, you proved me wrong the best way possible. When I discovered this full track, I was actually searching for what would a nowadays Alive track would sound like, and this masterpiece came up. Thanks for sharing this with us, and for all the work you made, and keep it up!

I agree with you, but also one small thing bothered me at DiR / SM 47:50 - 48:10.. too fast of speed up, liking the blend of two at higher speed after that, but doesn't sound to me so Daft Punk of transition.. could be mild speed up, 3-5 seconds no music, than BAM the blend you made..

Daft punk are undoubtley one of the most beloved musical arists in my life and you single handendly managed to create something with the skill and artistry worthy of them. I CONSTANTLY come back to this as not only something that brings my dreams to life but as something worthy of admiration becuase even ignoring daft punk for a sec THIS IS INCREDIBLE. the level of creative genius on display is huge. My personal favourite details: The Giorgio By Moroder lyrics edited to sound like technologics robot. The Wind from touch used at the very begining. The backwards Blasts at the start of robot rock. the way the orchestra of C.L.U plays sections of robot rock and the fact you managed to exactly recrate the robot voices at parts. 20:22 you have me looking for a protector, digging out my VJ controller and figuring out how to map my new smart lights to perform an accompanying visual show, with stage 2 plans to choreograph my robots dancing. Thank you. Next time we go into lockdown, my neighbors are in for a treat.

I got goosebumps when I changed the vocals of the Instant Crush song like a woman's voice... I mixed the songs well in harmony. It's like the official of Daft Punk.

I've listened to this like six times now. Alive 2007 was my favorite live album, but I legit think this might've topped it, even if it's not technically "live" album. Kudos brah

Thank you so much for this! I've been looking for a good live set of RAM and this by far is the best. 1993-2021 Daft Punk forever!

Bruh. This is masterful! What a fantastic understanding of hat the guys are about! Your transitions are phenomenal, and smooth like butter. I greatly appreciate that you put the ground cheering in; the interaction and connection between the guys and the crowd is one of the reasons their live shows are so exceptional, so special. Great work, my friend! ETA: 12:30 , 28:30 For myself.
