the intro of this song is probably the most empowering build up of any dance music, it's got that cinematic epic-ness and dance floor hype at the same time. This is my favorite Daft Punk song of them all, and it's so much better without the vocals, Vive la Punk!

not really, that's how the original song goes. they switch into a 2-5-1 progression when the verse kicks in.

Yes I found the difference from A-B test. They probably chop the 3:30 - 3:46 part and move it to 0:48 - 1:05 . It sounds similar tho.
