this looks fake. not the drums but were you guys playing to a track? vocals? no vocoder or talkbox? its all in the helmet? props to the key player, not needing to see to play. that might be real but looks fake af with everything else goin on. SUS. edit: ill sub if you release the backing track lol

Hey! Thanks for your concern. Yes the vocoder is inside the helmet, it's a Britney mic basically, wireless to the audio interface that processes eveything. We will be posting rehearsal clips soon. You are right, visibility is tough but not impossible. If you are sceptical, come to the first show? I've been a professional musician and audio engineer my entire adult life, I take my work seriously. So do the rest of the band, and we are excited to do this. Cheers!

@@daftpunkz Brittany mic makes sense, but sending the vox to an actual vocoder would be 100x cooler than whatever vocal fx plugin you're using with your interface. It sounds good though. Apologies for being rude, if you guys are ever in LA I'll come to one of your shows.

It's all good. It's based around Waves Ovox. Vocal hits that and the keytar does the pitches. CME widi and basic RF wireless mic get the job done wirelessly.

@@daftpunkz Oh! So it is basically a vocoder then. I get that the helmets are cool and daft punk but personally I think its way more fun to watch the vocalist play the pitch on the keys while their mouth moves.
