There are 2 sequences in particular that I want to complement here. From 1:01 to 1:06 and from 1:47 to 1:55. The first is DotM Megs assaulting TLK Megs. The second is FoC Megs kicking the crap out of DotM Megs. Both of these short combat sequences present so much about these different iterations of the character. The first showcases DotM Megatron's savage, overpowering nature and the second shows off FoC Megatron's quick, refined but brutal skill from being a gladiator of Kaon. Adding to that are the great sound choices. DotM Megatron is all guttural growls and shouts, G1 Megs is constantly taunting and talking smack, and FoC Megs is silent. The Savage, the Villain, and the Gladiator. (FoC is kinda funny considering how loud and angry he was in those games.) TLK Megs, though, has always been a blank slate of a villain.

I'm all in with the G1-transformers, but FOC Megatron is just too cool to not root for! First video i've watched and this is already my favourite SFM channel by far! I also love how each version of Megatron is portrayed so accurately as to how they each act in their own respective universes: G1 Megatron is fighting like Megatron originally would while Michael Bay Megatron is both shown to be a warrior yet not opposed to using dirty tricks to win (TF3 Megs using G1 Megs to gain the upper hand, TF5 Megs waiting around for the best opportunity to strike). Then you have Fall Of Cybertron Megatron who is just a true warrior to the core! Over all this is the best transformers video i've watched in a very long time!

Not really a fair comparison. G1 Megatron had the most powerful of canons depicted by the character in any other format. His fusion canon is damn near nuclear in ability. He also sported an energon shield on his forearms, his energon mace, and his alt mode was much more destructive. His G2 form was as formidable or moreso if you go by the abilities in the comic. And yes, the Transformers Prime version should have been given a shot. I know it is a fictional character, but research could have made this a bit more interesting to flesh out.
