Dagenham: Major incident 'stood down' following London tower block fire, London Fire Brigade says

More than 200 firefighters responded to a blaze in Dagenham, east London, and at least two people have been taken to hospital.
"An extensive search and rescue operation took place following a simultaneous evacuation of the building and I'm pleased to announce that everybody has been accounted for," says the London Fire Brigade.

Sounds like they saved another Grenfell disaster. Hear the anger in his voice when he mentions about 'Building Failures'. There are so many buildings like this that fail the Health and Safety Regulations that protect the residents lives. That is because those that put residents in these buildings don't care at all. 7 years earlier, pat gave an interview ,he was the first borough commander to arrive at Grenfell, saying he had never seen anything like it in his career and would never see the likes of it again.,. Here he is again at a flat fire ,but as the overall incident commander. Such great respect to the firefighters ,running into danger ,whilst others ran the other way. Brilliant..

It's just as well then because the London Fire Brigade allocated one of its 64m turntable ladders to Dagenham fire station which was clearly effective from the beginning.

It’s called gaslighting. It wasn’t a 24 storey tower block but a 6 storey block with shops underneath. No doubt the emergency services did a Stirling job but again not a 24 storey tower block which msms was implying.

Lots of London Borough (LB) Council areas are in contiguous County areas. LB Dagenham is in Essex, LB Bromley is in Kent, LB Kingston is in Surrey etc. It's been like that since at least the Greater London Authority days.

Dagenham used to be in Essex up until 1965, then it was transferred to London by Act of Parliament.
