Guys I've a genuine question or a confusion we can say , I hope I'll get the answer from here , I heard that according to Quran the (musalla) i.e where the imam stands in (haram al makki) should be at maqam e Ibrahim but I've seen that the mehrab in haram is far away in straight opposite direction of the door of kaba (the sacred house) and the musallis are standing in rows in front of imam , so is there prayer valid??? Coz I think or what in my knowledge is that the musallis are not supposed to stand in front of imam rather than standing behind him ... Please answer anyone 🥹✨

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I’m not sure on the daleel of why they do it this way but when I’ve been there you can see they leave a gap in the rings of rows around the Ka’bah. This gap is essentially a corridor in front of the Imam so technically no one is directly ahead of him. I assume the reason is the safety and security of the imams but Allah knows best..

You cannot stand ahead of Imam on which side the imam is standing. Usually before prayer they put borders on the Imam side
