I remember Jester saying in his first video's for ArmA 3 how much potential there was for the game, all the possibilities. I think we have been seeing that in the Ranger Ops, Contracts and SEAL Ops. I'm blown away by these amazing missions. Rock on guys.

Hey, Jester. Have you considered trying out Speed of Sound mod? I do love JSRS, it just has been a while since it's been updated. MOUT engagements sounds absolutely amazing, even with modded in weapons. They even have an accurate 203 sound. Also, a little demo of ranged combat with it: The Speed of Sound

ok i used to play a lot of games when I was about 14-17, so that was like 4 5 years ago, when school and college got serious I kinda lost touch with the developments of what is possible on a PC, both in perspective of gaming and technology as well as simulation ( I used to love FPS, especially realistic FPS), but this blows my mind. Bullet won't choose your rank, whose first to fall.. I know lots of team leader all over the world die first before their man does. Example in Peru Embassy siege, from over 50-80 or hundred of them assault the embassy only the leader die. And it was successful operation.

You really need to use the zeroing option. Its hard to watch you in combat while not t using the zeroing. Especially with the grade launcher. The control scheme is page up and down. Just take this into consideration.

These are clans who make these missions themselves, do briefings, play their missions. If you buy the game, you won't see none of this until you join a serious clan that does this sort of stuff. I recommend taw.net because while it's not as serious or hardcore military, it still displays discipline, leadership and is fun. -Glock

@Jester814 at 5:51 when you go down and your team mate tries to drag you If he presses C to toggle combat pace it should allow him to drag you that was a solution we found to that problem with BTC revive. hopes this helps :)

If you're dragging someone and you can't move, press C. If you have the combat movement enabled, that's what's causing the glitch.

Yes, there is a single player campaign and it's really fun. But, to get the most out of this game, you really do need to play with other people. There are a lot of friendly online groups that you can join that have weekly games and sometimes even play against other teams of people.

***** I doubt it. It also wont come out on any of the consoles. ArmA 3 isn't fully released till may. After that, there's bound to be a DLC or two. Look in the forums for specs on the pc's the developers use, which aren't quite that spectacular!

Steam is coming out with their own console this year, they just aren't as big as Playstation or Xbox, so they are really lacking in the advertisment department, but yes they are coming out with a steam box I assure you and I have already seen the system layout, a few things might change but the model they will either have or structure around closely is already out. It will have touch screen controllers first on both sides and it will connect most likely cross platform. Meaning PC and Steam BOX, MEANING THEY WILL HAVE ARMA 2 and 3 for a CHEAP well cheaper CONSOLE vs buying a whole computer for games....

I am using a $1000 Lenovo ideapad y510p. It plays Arma3 at ultra/high. You can get it from Lenovo for 1,200 ish or you can get it from newegg.com for 1000 which is what I did. Look at the model with the SLI configuration
