When I want to put splatter on my picture, I fill up the brush and then use another brush handle. I hold one brush handle in one hand and I tap my brush with the color down on my brush handle and the inertia creates splatter.

Great tip. I usually use my finger to tap on… but I have bruised my finger several times tapping too hard… been trying out different techniques. 😁

Hi Denise! Love these! I really love painting on hotpress paper! And I think you could of put some Wispy lines of gold coming out the bottom up the center. That would of been so Wispy and gorgeous.
