I think the reason pallets are sticking to the forklift because you are taking them from the side. You can see from other side gaps where there is nothing under those gaps, all I've seen irl, is that forklifts take them from that side

(not a critique, just a happy observation) Episode 49 - builds big shed and concretes area to make more room so machinery isn't all trapped in one shed or laying around in the grass Episode 50 - has to play around shifting machinery which is trapping other machinery behind it in one shed and leaves machinery laying around in the grass; big new shed sits empty Classic Daggs XD Your vids drop at 1:30am here in Aus and I wait up to watch them instead of sleeping like I should be haha Love your work - keep on doing what you're doing good sir =D

Have you considered putting down some of the sell points included with the map around the place for some variety? A grain sell point at the windmill, for example, would be really nice and give it a bit more purpose. Love this series Daggerwin, keep up the great work.

Daggerwin, there is a bulk buy mod which allows you to buy pallets and the like in bulk, so you don't have to click the buy button multiple times. Also when you make the new arable field, make sure you leave a grass marker between the field and the border, so you don't get the error message of it not being your field.

Just realised just how good the fence works! Definitely need more. I would suggest separating some of the yard from the road such as the bit from a rock to the combine shed or something if you understand where I’m talking about.

I really enjoy this series and would like to see it continue for a while yet (like over 100 episodes) but if you were looking for an end point I’d say when you can consistently have lots of money in your account and have the nice expensive equipment. Much after that and it just becomes a regular fs series and therefore not survival-ish.

Start of episode - builds a new shed for machinery and equipment. End of episode - shed empty and machinery still abandoned all over the place. "That's twice the Ferguson trailer has been in the way" - it doesn't park itself.

In RL we use that type of mower for hay, no issues with damaged grass, obviously for silage you should have something rowing that grass for you.

We used a sickle bar for years until my family finally bought a small, used Vicon disc mower and then a few years ago it quite literally flew apart on my dad. I mean there was some kind of catastrophic failure with it and it became just a hunk of scrap steel. Went back to the sickle bar for a while until we found a much better quality (and a bit smaller so our old tractor can handle it better) Kuhn disc mower. Only thing we have that looks similar to that batwing mower in here is our bush hog. Don't think we'd want to use it for hay though. Not like it matters at this point anyway. Our baler pretty much went tits up this year and we've had to buy our hay instead. Hardly got anything baled this year.....well I guess last year at this point. I think Dag is thinking that this thing might have some mulching blades on it or that it won't allow that cut grass to fall and stay out of the blades and will instead treat it more like how a lawnmower deck does with creating a suction to pull the cut grass upwards into the blades to shred it more

I've never used the potato sorter.. but it seems to me, you'd be more efficient selling off one of the two, then using the conveyors out of a pile through the washer, then out of the washer into the trailer.

You should get the 1 fuarrow ferguson plow and do an entire lap around your boundary to show your boundary also there is a £400 sprayer on modhub which would be good for vintage survival

As for when to end the series, I think once you have more money then you know what to do with (No obvious equipment upgrades, dont need more tractors, ECT) would be a fantastic time. That is when you are no longer surviving! ^-^
