At either of the sawmills there is a proper forklift loading ramp. Use those. Much easier to maneuver on. Second. When you were trying to strap down the metal, you were on the wrong train car. You were on the first log wagon. You need to select the second car which is the flatbed.

Daggerwin, the explanation of using super strength is correct. The game lacks the precision and speed to load with any kind of machine, so go on, play as you please as long as you have fun sharing it with us!

Agreed. I wish there were more ways built into the game to avoid super strength or auto-loader mods. E.g. if you parked your trailer in the spawn area, pallets get auto-loaded on your trailer. That would feel better to me than downloading a mod.

You saying it's not good for the pallets reminds me. I work at at a garden centre and once we had a double wide pallet arrive from our warehouse with a mix of garden furniture on it, two tables and 30 parasol bases. Now considering that each parasol base weighs 15Kg each they would be in the middle. Nope. 15 bases on each end with the two light weight tables in the middle. I used to have a brilliant picture of a pallet looking like a banana. Also, a virtual drop! Perfect place for Virtual Daggerwin to set up shop.

** Just a little tip ** It's better to start Silverun in Farm Manager mode and not New Farmer. If you start in Farm Manager and buy all the land, equipment and house as you would get in New Farmer mode you are still left with over £740,000 spare, so it makes no sense starting the game in New Farmer. If your concerned about prices you can still start in Farm Manager and set the game to ' easy ' if you so wish.

Been watching you for a few years now. Please don't listen to the people saying it's become too easy. I quite enjoy the pacing even with the extra money the collectibles bring, or even the quality-of-life mods like super strength. I'm not sure if I could've watched you struggle with the log grabber for minutes even in a time lapse. That would've been boring

I think you need to get the shipping containers set up. It's auto load for the logs then you have no reason to use super strength 😂

Follow the road north of town and search around the 2nd bridge, also look for small pond in the north west corner of the map

There is a collectable in the small lake on the right side of the road on your way up to the steel mill, its on a small island in the middel of the lake, the lake you looked at when you was on your way up with the forklift

If you start selling logs on a regular basis then shipping containers are the ay to go you get nearly 120% more money by doing it this way rather than just loading them on a log trailer, also don't put the wrong length log into the containers because you get a huge penalty. 6m lengths are the way to go just as a little tip

I haul coils like that ours are made out of aluminum and they weigh between 4,000 and 7,000 lb typically since there's a steel I would expecting a lot more weight

The base game manitou has a 1.8t lift capacity. The new one has 5t lift capacity. Hence the numbers on them

You probably can use belts on the train car, you just had the wrong car selected (you had the car second from the back but needed second from the front)

Hello, in the last episode I left a comment that there is a collectible in the lake at 0:55. In this episode at 5:42 you were right in front of her but you didn't pick her up. Also, in addition to the other places mentioned by people, two other collectible items were found between the old sawmill and the container warehouse. behind it is a collectible on a stump. also at 12:24, while driving across the bridge below, you passed by a building on top of one silo back, it is a collector's item.

I don’t know if anyone else has said this but in places that get a lot of snow, having your mailbox knocked over from the plow trucks hitting it or the snow thrown from the plow trucks hitting it is very common! Nice touch by giants 😂 Some people “protect” their mailboxes by putting a plywood wall in front of the broad side of it. That usually gets knocked over too lol

Just my opinion, naturally, but I don't mind at all the use of super strength to load the logs. It's either that or do it super slow, resulting in you cutting out the long, boring bits, and then we're not seeing it anyway. Love the series!

If I’m not mistaken, the first car at the front of the train is meant for pallets. You can stack them against the middle barrier on either side.

Daggerwin...@18:49, notice the loading ramp at the other end of the train station. I imagine you can switch the track and back the train down it. Then just drive the forklift straight up and load the flatcar. I bet you can load the containers there too. Not sure if metal pallets will autoload in the containers, I haven't tried it yet.

Dagger, I'm not sure about the real world use of the first train car but that car does have tie downs to hold pallets. Also the new forklift can move the empty cargo containers with ease.

My comment got removed or something last episode so I'll post it again: Hi Dagger, there is a mod called "Timber Trailer Info" on the modhub which shows how much wood you have in the trailer in weight and volume terms. The info is shown in the F1 menu.

No complaints about supper strength please do use it to make life easier, obviusly not realistic but ya, last time we pretended to store ice cream in cold storage while they were outside. Loads of hours go into these vids and that little bit just helps, main reason i dont do forestrry is also the grabs and handlng of the wood. wood only do it if i can get a autoload trailer

Thanks collectable for allowing Dagger to pay off the loan. Found this out a long time ago with my first foray into Farming Simulator with 11. There are no level locks, so the only real difficulty lies in how fast or slowly you accrue money. a) Since the Dev team put them in, it isn't cheating, and could be taken as if the Devs intended for you to have it, but only for those who have taken to explore and appreciate the beautiful map that they took the time, effort, and many long hours creating. b) Choosing to not collect them therefore would simply be a self imposed limitation equivelant to setting the game on hard, auto sales for price cut, and/or simple selling to the lowest bidder to extend the time it takes to earn money. But you've chosen: the staring difficulty, use Leases to access stuff sooner, use loans but pay them back asap to waste as little as possibe with the interest, not to use auto-sales to not lose money to "fees" and try to sell to highest bidder. You've consistantly made decisions to progress, I don't see the collectibles any different. You're simply doing a specialty "contract" Giants put in. Plus, FS is the easiest series to cheat money due to simply using Notepad to edit the file. Other Dev teams upon learning that players cheating, encrypt or use other methods. Giants never have. Not saying they condone it, but simply leaves that to the player him/her-self. So if the collecting bothers you, you can go to that wood shop, and view how many uou've collected and remove the $$ by editing the save file, or even edit it to a "realistic" finder's fee. Honestly I prefer to play without them, but thats simply for some sort of realism, and in that line, I wished they charge so much per ton of ore dependant on difficulty. However, you're a KZbinr, an entertainer, and have not boring you audience with the exact same thing 100 episodes in a row to worry about but must instead keep stuff fresh. Adding these little touches like the snoring in the dump truck was funny. Even when you do the "same thing" later, since you're keeping a variety, commentary, and the progression is helping in your favor, imo.

2:15 When it's time to upgrade your equipment I recommend you either get a wheel loader or a large frontloader tracktor with a log grab for loading up the logs. Much easier to use than a crane. 5:45 Can't say for sure, but if you look at the water lilly in the middle of the pond slightly away from the rest of them it kind of looks like something brown is laying on it. Maybe a collectible? 18:25 Probably easier to load the train if you move away from the ramp and load from the ground. Also I think the front car is for pallets, it has these pallet sized spots on both sides.

Hey daggerwin, best way I've found to load at mine is a conveyer belt setup, really cheap to setup and quicker than even the biggest wheel loader!!

At 5:46, you're looking right at a collectable on the lily pad to your left, as I mentioned from episode 7 when you were at 0:55. At 11:44, the north gas station, in the back behind Porche tractor sign, behind the bush is a pig.

i dont know what the exact size for the metal parts is but lets make educated guess based on the pallet its length is 1000, outer dia 500 and inner dia 200 makes it just under 1300kg always nice to see the flying pallets omg risutec another finnish brand!

Hi Daggerwin, I really enjoy watching your vids. I watched the whole Haut Beyleron series and really liked it. I just feel like this series on Silverrun Forest, you're kind of rushing it. I don't know if anyone else is getting that feeling? I know you are keen to expand quickly and get more machines and productions but it just feels like you're trying to blitz because its the new DLC. I'd prefer if you took it a bit slower, we'll still be here. However you go about it, I'll still watch, I just thought, as a random fan, I would let you know what I think.

To be fair you do not need collectibles to make money, the metal factory is basically a 90k per month money printing machine. You do not have to pay for the input, and the output is expensive and quick to produce. You will make 1million a year from it easy.

why are people complaining about super strength, play the game how you want to play and if you want to use super strength then go ahead, it's your game, play it how you like, and I won't dictate how you play it. it always annoys me when people do that, they think because they subscribed it gives them entitlement to tell you how to play a game you've brought with your money. geesh people, calm down with your complaining.

I think the locations are in the saved game data (maybe) but that ruins the aspect of finding them withiout help. I know for sure you can edit the save game XML to make it think you have not collected any and collect them again, but thats kinda cheating.
