That's the Hail damage, you finally spotted. It was actually visible in last episode also, and it's not just on one of your fields.

I was so confused about what these circles were in my fields. The yellow direct drill didn't work on the areas affected. I had to use the starter cultivator on the riverbed map.

@@HellWatcher117 I think the ground kind of 'resets' after the damage. But the FS25 is way more complex than most people belive. There are a decrese in yield, if you drive in the swath, also in the swath in the McDon pack. The more you drive in it, the more damage. And the season will destroy bales etc left outside over time.

I seen the crop damage in the previous episode (during the hail storm) This is kind of cool as the “perfect” crops in FS22 were quite unrealistic. Love all that I am seeing in ‘25

I agree it's kind of cool, but there's a slight (big) problem, that I and others have seemed to encounter, and I don't know if it's going to be the same for Daggerwin. They damage the field, and crops can't be planted on them. I had this happen on multiple saves, i'd have multiple patches where no matter what i did, cultivate plow spray it would not plant on them. The little snowflake turned into a snowball that didn't stop, and I had about 1.5 hectares of soil where I couldn't plant anything, and that just destroys the game. Since then I turned off disaster destruction.

with the cement bags for the construction, maybe buy one cement bag pallet per game month to progress the shed and temple, though it probably would take a while

There is a collectible behind the house at the end of the train station and as you enter the city from the farm direction there is one under the left bridge

@@Daggerwin if you re watch the video its in a lot of the fields around the map when you brought up the pda you can see fields all over with speckled patches from the hail lol i was shouting at my monitor look around you lol

I was watching a video by someone (I think it might of been Farmer Cop) about the cost of constructables and he worked it out to be around $300,000+ for a shed much like your one (when buying the supplies) Considering you also may be supplying cement products to the temple, buying the cement factory first is probably a smart idea honestly.

The difference in productivity for the grass fields was because the first time you cut it, it was only on the first harvest growth stage and not the second stage. The second stage increases yield by 50%.

There is a windmill that produces water. You'll see a water icon when you hover over it in the buying section. It comes with a water tank. I think it's at the bottom of the list.

I would love to see you buy field 33 and extend it after clearing all the trees. Wood will pay for the field. Make it your primary local grassfield instead of the faraway field. Grasswork takes many extra trips local is good. Remember vintage and 99 ahh that drive. You a serious stock of produce in the greenhouse, i suggest you sell it

Looking forward to see the yard take shape. I just went with the open Easy Shed thing we also started with in FS 22. Pretty cheap at 10k and lots of storage space. And with a roof high enough to keep the combine in. The only problem is placing it. Around my farm on Riverbend Springs there is so much perfectly flat terrain but it is all forbidden to build on. Really hoping for that build everywhere mod or something similar to come out. But with that repurposed field you're using you shouldn't have too many restricted areas.

its not uncommon for wind / heavy rain to lay flat tall grass or even taller crops. its very realistic. and doesnt have to be even close to tornado windspeeeds to lay down crops

Crop circle damage circle damage is from the deer! At least on my american map i see em running around and eating my fields all the time and those spots are the bare spots come harvest. Need deercrows or something 😆

I somehow screwed my game up by changing those lol. The field wouldn’t update when I was cultivating or spraying or whatever until I was almost done with that row, 😅so it was always about 500’ behind me when i tried to max everything out… I just went back to the ultra preset.

Those circles aren't weather damage as far as I can tell , as I had them on my farm before I remember getting any hail or tornados. It also can happen in normal fields and if it does happen you have to plow or subsoil (havent tested just normally cultivating yet, waiting to see if they come back after anything specific I do) the field to return the ground to usable. I noticed it but couldnt for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it so kept direct-drilling over the top and not planting on it. Eventually I was redoing some field edges and I plowed over the spot (just figured I would plow the whole field) and now the markings are gone.

If you flood your rice field you can fill the water tanker out of it but you have to flood the field you can’t fill strait out of the pump

So I just found out that if you place a pressure washer down then stand near it and press X ( on Xbox - as if you are entering a vehicle ) you hold the pressure washer and can move it once you start its engine. I have played FS since FS 17 and only just found that out lol.

I’m not positive but I think the marks in the field were made by the hail you experienced not long ago. I heard that hail would damage crops in FS25.

Hey @daggerwin. Discovered if I leave one of the rice paddy's in a mulched state (probably works when cultivated too?), it lets me flood it every month, at least, I'm on June which is past the seeding point of either form of rice, and it's still letting me flood the field each day and take water from it for my greenhouses etc. Thought that might be handy info

Why not see if there's a contract for mowing grass and making hay . Using the equipment to do that job and do your fields. Much cheaper to use their equipment then renting at store .

The draw distance I edit the game.xml and double it for the max in the setting menu as well as the object draw distance and foliage draw distance but that may drop your frame rate some
