The smaller wheel is a "tag" axle because it "tags along" to help distribute higher loads. It's smaller (and mounted higher) so that it only comes into play with a heavy trailer load. When the trailer is light, it's off the ground to improve turning.

It is actually not its a bogie axle meaning both sets of wheels rotate around the same central axle instead of it having to seperate axles, like the mars rover, that's at least what I could gather from Samson's own website and fotos of the axle set up

Only downside is that you have to roll before the grass start regrowing, or it wil be reset to the first stage. Not 100% sure about the last one, but I think you're missing the one by the house just north of the farmshop. 21:50 But you still have 6 pallets of eggs you forgot last time, you could have bought that spreader. 23:15 You don't need to fill the spreader manually. There is a fill point on the side toward the hedge. Should still be able to get close enough even if the icon would have been halfway inside the hedge.

If you get a grass roller, you don't need to fertilize the grass field at all. Just use it the same day you mow, or you loose some growth. You don't need to shovel the muck anymore. There's a fill spot on the right side of the silo. The reason for the different wheel sizes is probably that the bigger front wheel climbs over bumps better, the rear wheel follows easier. And you get them closer together when they aren't both big, which helps in tight turns.

The big Krone wind rower you mentioned in the previous episode doesn’t work well going across slopes. It is too wide therefore it lifts the back of a tractor up, then it slides down the hill and makes the row all messy. Only going across slopes and or on uneven ground. Please can you put the wide BKT tyres back on the McCormick when you are not fertilising. Good Vid Daggerwin😀

I know you prefer to do things realistic. But you can autofill from the manure pit. There is a trigger to the right of it thats not turned on atm where you park and it auto fills. Also you can change your settings to auto fill from the pit so the spreader won't run out

Smaller wheels might also help the turning ratio, making it more manuvreble. And keep the tab on. This kind of series is more a showcase of the map, machines and how to make progress. I don´t mind cutting corners in favor of progress including some loans and timelapses. Survival series has focus on the struggle and there no tab is more in line with that.

The small axle on the muck spreader is lighter weight then the big one so you can get more weight and bigger capacity

New in FS22, in the muck spreader settings you can enable double application rate to do 2 applications at once. Still uses same amount of muck as 2 separate applications, but saves you a trip around the field.

May I suggest to place a barn near the silage pit? it will help to produce the TMR, and you can use the forage mixer to shred the bale directly into the barn. I generally use 4k silage (with wheel loader bucket), 4.5/4.8 K hay, straw rest, directly from the barn

The difference in wheel size is about stability. Taller side walls have less rigidity and need more air pressure, so small wheels mean they support extra weight better.

Don't know that, you have seen my comment. And a little bit updated comment. You should also use the GPS mod. You can do field works more straight. And the corseplay mod, it will make feild workes smart and controllable. You should also use the Autodrive mod, it will make, driving cars and tractors so easy. And you can hire a AIworker for the Vines and the Olives. And there is a unload combine feature in it. You should see the tutorial of it. And you should also use the Front Lifter mod, if you use it, you can do some insane things .

The grass at the side of the silage pit would be a good place to put the next Sausage silage now that you know the length needed for that field. As to the colectables you are missing and cannot find them try gsCollectablesShowAll and they will appear on the map

Hi Daggerwin. I I had an idea that I would like to tell you it basically comes from personal opinion. I am personally just not a big fan of Olive on the feed mixer I just think it looks odd no offense to Olive but I was thinking you could probably make some money if you sold olive and bought one of the small tractors that are on the in game mod hub. For example the John Deere 6300 or the New Holland L95 or the Case 1455 in my opinion any of those tractors would make more sense to be on the feed mixer and there’s a potential to make a little money. A couple other cool options although more expensive would be the case Maxxum or the case Vestrum. But these are just my opinions obviously it is your series. 🤷🏼‍♂️ love the series.

There is one collectable im pretty sure you havent gotten yet. if your heading west into town, there is a small park area that on the map is shaped like a w. there is a collectable behind a bench in the grassy area making the left v of the w or the western-most line if the w. i believe that one you also still need is north of field 30. there is a bridge directly north of field 30 and the production that is above that. halfway across that bridge, there is a building there on the left backed up to the water if your looking at your map. is behind that. coordinates according to a website are (x 851, y 1041). its right next to a silver/grey box on a wood stand up against the building. and i dont remember if you have gotten the one in the forest north of field 14. and one more just to make sure. there is a gated building north of field 7. there is a grassy indent in the brick wall and its next to a tree.

you should consolidate your manure and slurry at the biogas plant into digestate and buy a just slurry spreader for that, otherwise you're going to need both manure and slurry spreaders

the rear wheel on the spreader is smaller because it aids in steering. If it were the same size as the larger wheel it would not have the arc to actually turn without either being mounted wider or having relief in the side of the spreader.

I think the smaller wheel on the back of the spreader is to drive the spreader's mechanics - needs to rotate fast to drive the mechanics so smaller tire.

Instead of using the tractor to move the bale wrapper next grass harvest, you can attach the wrapper to the telehandler, so you wil take out one vehicle needed for the job and save money

There is a small house just next to the rail bridge close to your farm at the bottom of a little hill it has a icon on the back dunno where the collectible is but it’s close and that muck spreader with the small wheels on the back there used for rear wheel steering Ik I used it myself on FS 19 on my farm recently

You should invest into the spinnery and clothing productions... clothing can be sold up to 30 000 if not 34 000 per 1000l (per pallet) and it would be a way to use your wool. If you then add a cotton field... (Highest sales price is somewhere between march and may)

I think your still missing the one from the Bakery. I seem to remember you looking for it right at the start of the series, and finding the other one nearby in the small park. So behind the bakery, up onto the roofs, and keep jumping up until your next to the ladder.

Sometimes in America we use smaller wheels if that's all that's required to support the equipment weight. Smaller wheels and tires are cheaper to replace.

The wheel is smaller to carry more weight. Because them wheels are lighter than the bigger ones witch you can carry more weight. The same as the ones on trucks. Very common for getting blow outs thow with them being smaller because they over heat quicker.

Is there any way to reduce pallet sizes now? Since they’ve increased, it’s such a pain to have to use the forklift to move/load pallets now. I play on console so don’t have access to super strength. I feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage. Advice welcome ✌🏼

I'm the same way, I'm thinking about buying a forklift for every production as it is only $ extra slot per duplicate vehicle. Just reimburse with the subsidy mod. Each production should in theory have their own forklifts. Right now I'm just driving it to and from.

I see everyone is already recommending a grass roller, which I heartily agree with, but just a tip for anyone who isn't aware; you can use a weeder to do the same job as a roller. Don't ask me why, it might well get patched out in future as it seems like a bug to me, but it works. I use the big blue Treffler weeder with the 18m working width (I think) which makes it a much quicker job than using a 6m grass roller. Just be careful and make sure you've baled all your grass first because the weeder will delete cut grass as well.
