Daggeerwin, a couple thing that I have spotted. 1. Stay with the round bales because you can bale and wrap in 1 pass. 2.If you go with loose silage you will fall behind chainsaw as you will be spending more time in getting from the field to the sell point because of having to load all the grass, compacting it, then loading a small trailer. 3. There is a workshop at the main farm near the silage pit. 4. Keep on top of your vehicle maintenance, repair and fuel. 5. Stay on top of the fertiliser on your fields aswell to improve your crop

Really enjoying this series, it’s cool to see how two different playstyles stack up against each other. Something that might be cool to add in at some point would be milestones! Like first person to earn 50k gross from animal products gets the Biobeltz bucket, or first person to have 500,000l of crop in storage gets one of the trailers from the west ep pack. It’d be interesting to see how different challenges influence the way you guys make strategic decisions!

This competitive multiplayer is brilliant. Great series & great map. Just seen something that may be of interest to you. You may already be aware but Greenbale Modding have managed to convert a couple of the standard in game vehicles to right hand drive. Just thinking about your realism for Survival Roleplay.
@liamolivermaher4 жыл бұрын
in my experience you're much better sticking with silage bales as opposed to pit silage. its quicker no matter what you're thinking. When selling silage you're carting 16000litres each time, a trailer load of 6000ltr bales will be over 160000 litres at a time.
@IWasAllLikeG934 жыл бұрын
In my experience they're both about the same time investment, all things considered. Don't forget that loading that bale trailer can take quite a while, especially if you're not good with a bale fork. I'd recommend whichever you enjoy more. For me, I prefer silage bales with a small scale farm, and bulk silage at a large scale farm. I don't mind dealing with ~20 bales at a time, but any more than that and I start making friends with the silage pit. lol
@tanishgupta65244 жыл бұрын
I think because he doesn't have a large trailer so instead of doing more trips he does balling as he also has a baler with a wrapper so he does baling

if you use the anderson dlc autoloader for roundbales you can fit up to 24 in just a moment, and if you use fastbale + the vicon movers you don't need to windrow, wrap or stack.
@stefanbekan12984 жыл бұрын
Daggerwin, I still think its better that you buy the ursus autostacker and do round silage bales. When you make silage in a pit, let's say that the time needed to fill and compact the pit is equal to time needed to bale and wrap. But with an autostacker you take the loading, selling and cleaning the pit out of the equation so you can do contracts or bale straw or something else entirely. If you don't have anything to do, you might do a contract for Chainsaw.

I love this game mode. Because of these videos a friend and me started a competitive multiplayer on No Man’s Land (Xbox). I also have a suggestion for the upcoming Survival Role Play episodes. Since Dennis has allowed you working his farm I think a proper contract is in order. At some point John will be released from prison and might want to claim the farm. Just make sure your relationship with Dennis as owner and you as tenant is described properly and also improvements you make to the farm, additional machines you might buy etc.

On my dairyfarm on the map Gemeinde rade I usually create about 300+ silage bales and 80+ straw roundbales (plus loads of straw squarebales) every ingame year, and then i stack them with the frontloader balegrab at different places at the farm, depending on if is first, second or third cut. A job i enjoy irl and kinda like it in FS19 also :) You are welcome to help me stack anytime ;)

Daggerwin, the time lost with you doing the fertilizer with the rollers is worth more than you doing it with a fertilizer spreader.
@IWasAllLikeG934 жыл бұрын
The only time I use rollers is on a seasons map because you have a lot more time to get things done, but in this competitive series he really can't afford the time loss. He would've been done and on to the next job in just the time it took him to get 1/3 of the field done. That is painfully slow!
@stefanbekan12984 жыл бұрын
@@IWasAllLikeG93 Yes, exactly. And it's not like he is really tight with money. He could've also baled the Straw and sell it so the field would be ready for drilling next time. I know he has a casual and laid back playstyle but not in this series, he should be only thinking of how to get ahead. They're still both in the race.
@danrobsilva4 жыл бұрын
@@stefanbekan1298 Yeah, that's the first thing in my mind when he got the rollers. They're an absolute timesink, unjustifiable on a 5x timescale. for round bales, what I do is go around the field putting them into pairs in the field, then when they're all pairs lift the pairs on to the trailer, its quicker... lift the bale on the long side, not the round side, and push the bale up against the next bale, it will feel like pushing a square bale up against another square bale. then pick them the two of them up from the front. hope this makes sense
