The bale feed mod is a great mod, it's very realistic for a farm of your size as we IRL have 50 cattle and we cannot justify buying a bale shredder so we just drop that bales in the shed then spread them out by hand, it would have worked if you used proper bales and placed them in the trigger

Daggerwin in NZ and most other countries we put the bale on a bale spreader which tears the bale up into shreds and dumps it on the ground behind your tractor,so you load a bale on a drive into the paddock and spread the bale. The bale shredders are a lot cheaper than the bale shredders in game which are the ones that you have to drive into the shed for. I hope this helped. Cheers Luke.

you have 2 sprayers and 2 seeder that seed wheat barley etc.another thing is you could seriously rent or buy a forage harvester and pick up the straw instead of baling and then get silage for either selling or for the cows

This comment is about when you were talking about the wet crop. With soil mod the moisture goes up every hour while it's raining so with soil mod you do have to wait a while after the rain passes (you don't have to but if you moisture is already good then it rains you should wait) I play with soil mod and love it

The round thing you saw in the field with the cows. That's a ring feeder and you can put silage,hay or straw for the cows to feed off. Just to get a bit extra feed.

Daggerwin, If you want that muck spreader, get the Marshall Mod Package from giants, It's the MS105, it is on page 20 on there web site. It's a good mod. PS. the fill point can be a bit tricky, I wish they had moved it more to the open side, instead of in the middle. But the sound affects are spot on.

dagger not everyone uses a bale shredder for bedding. on our farm we have a loft that we put a big square bale of straw on then we use about 2 slabs of it for each side. and for feeding we do practically the same thing except we put about 6 or 7 bales of silage in the passage way with our loader which normally lasts about 3-4 days.

The small squarebales were registerd as hay if you remember, probably why the mod didn't pick it up as straw feed/bedding. Excuse me if someone beat me to it. Can't really be botherd reading thru all the comments :)

The tip point won't show but if you walk upto them when in the tip point it will come up on the bale to spread press X It's how we spread them by hand can't justify the price of a shredder on a small farm

Green manure is actually true! the farm i'm working at were going to plant winter rye and then till it in with a cover of manure in the spring.

And yes you can give cows a full bail of hay just cut the twins so they don't swallow it. And ox love tossing a 800 pound round bail around the pasture until it's turn up.

Daggerwin, I noticed in your game, on your equipment, the drive direction arrow(green arrow) that comes with the drive control mod doesn't show up. Any way of disabling that for good? Every time I turn it off on my vehicles, it's back on again when I reload a save. Awesome videos btw.

Flying Chicken Egg! Must be one of the new low fat healthy helium types? lol And I found that after heavy rain on most of the fs15 maps you do need to wait sometime for the crops to dry out! Just some are dry right after the rain finishes?

The feed bale mod is realistic because on are farm we put the bale in the shed and use a grape ( pitch fork) 2 spread it around.

Hello Daggerwin, I think i need to explain something once again. (just like yesterday) You where unable to give the bales to the cows because they are bugged out.(look at yesterdays comment) If you had picked the round bales it would have worked wthout a problem.

Some farms that don't have a bales shreders they just tear the bale up by hand and put it in the shed like u do when u feed horses

When you put the sheet over and let it ferment over time the sheet will come of and it will be brown because it's fermented silage

why not use a big bale you have to take the bale off the spikes when your in the feeding passage then get out and press the left mouse button when beside the bale
