The Selloff is in the tech heavy Nasdaq the Dow Jones which is mainly commercial and industrial was less affected. Nvidia lost 17% in one day but regained 25% of that the following day. They say DeepSeek got a hold of Nvidia chips though they require less of them expect to see a lot of volatility in the near term.

probably they just copied the codes of more established AI. Pero its a bit concerning nga na baka our jobs will be replaced by AI, I have an architect friend who is concern about this.

Actually bro, from what I heard they are pulling data from the infrastructure of the big players kasi nga open ang structure ng data gathering. So essentially, they are riding on the big players making it more efficient in terms of processing data. Sayang hindi tayo nakabile during the stock dip.

jUST remember that chinese learned from US companies and other international companies. Now start their own companies that are back by Chinese government. Chinese company do it better, cheaper and faster. For example, Chinese electric cars are better, more advance and much cheaper.

Good point, a lot of unknown at the moment. Just hoping market bounces back a lot of Canadian investors rely on those high yield investments for their retirement.

Might not be for you, but for some investor that's looking to get greater returns with lesser money it would probably worth considering, thats the problem in the west that is crippling its system even worse, they always think they are superior to the rest of the world, but the more they do that the more there failures are getting exposed, imagine you spend billions of investment on a project that would later on turn out to be inferior againts a chinese product thats only worth 5 million USD 😂😂😂, now a lot of people will question is the west really as good as they are claiming themselves to be and cracks are showing in the US stock market now.
