On V2.03 I searched for an entire day; I found a 3 minute piece I want to save as an AVI file; I click "cut" at the start; I click "cut" (no other button) at the end of the 3 minutes and it opens the record screen and saves the entire movie from the time I started to 23:59 of that day (??????). What must I click to select only that 3 minute piece?

You can use WiFi USB to connect with the local network only.

Hi, I am looking to upgrade my four channel Dahua NVR to an eight channel. Can you please advise on what steps I need to take ? I currently have four cameras running on the four channel nvr, but I would like to add a few more cameras to the eight channel and nvr. Thanks

Do u have a video for adjusting the record setting of the cam? Would it allow record on motion detection only? Been using an old laptop and ispy software and I'm thinking of switching to this nvr for some reasons

Just change the schedule in storage settings. Also, make sure motion detection is enabled in the alarm settings.

I have Question ... even if I have 32 dahua nvr channel and I add camera to channel one and leave it record for 1 day and remove it from this channel and add the same camera to channel 2 ... when I do playback for the channel one will I find the day recorded or deleted?

On mine, my preferred DNS is the gateway address of my router and the alternate DNS is 8.8.8.8. Is there any reason I may want to leave it in this configuration or should I change it to what you suggested in this video?

Hello, I was just about to ask why it said 'Connection failed' when I tried to view my cameras on my iphone, then the camera images suddenly appeared out of the blue after hours waiting. So far so good. Patience seems to be the key here???? Thanks for your video, Kind regards John

You can change basic settings, however for advanced settings need to login via web

the XVR you have is only a entry level recorder without AI

I see that you have both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, but you are using IE for accessing the NVR interface, is there a good reason? Would I be able to access the NVR interface from a computer running Linux and Chrome/Firefox ?

it's all due to web plugin, the latest NVR & IPC will support Chrome as well
