There's a setting in the menu for tilt level. It comes defaulted at 15 degrees. Set it at 0 degrees and it will tilt up all the way.

Great review and I hope you consider more camera reviews! Thanks!!!!

I have the same camera. I had to change my default tilt settings as the default was not set to 5 degrees. Yours should tilt higher than that. This camera is great and works flawlessly below - 40c temps

I have this camera as well, but I'm not sure if, let's say a trip wire is tripped, the camera will move there, or not?

Is this a p2p camera. Or do I have to hook it up to a router?

We have the same camera (our first) but have not yet bought an NVR. Do we need one and if so why? Lastly, we already have a PoE switch, so which would you recommend? Thanks!
@djerniet3505 жыл бұрын
You should use a dahua NVR it will allow you a lot of features that the camera is capable of. But you don't need to have an NVR as you can log onto this camera through a web browser. And you can download the dahua phone application as well. I use dahua cameras but i do not have an NVR i use a computer software called blue iris. Go to ipcamalk and you can learn all about this camera and loads of information about getting the best out of this camera and others.

You would probably know... Do you think I could also wall-mount this camera? (without additional junction-box and stuff...)
@VisionSandS4 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't work as well as you would reduce the range of movement by doing so. However, using two mounts you can wall mount it and keep it in its stationary down facing position.

Great review, thanks! What is the difference between the GN versions and the TNI versions? I'm not sure if one is international and the other is US?

@@reivajm1212 Shouldn't be a problem but you can test it out using your cell phone. Record a video to make sure

awesome review. imo more reviews of the "budget" cameras with real world recording is always nice so one could compare them. when i was choosing some poe cameras for our house i tried some dahua's and they were ok but for some reason they didn't like to keep the FPS setting. i would set it to 10fps and after a while would go back to 30fps. ended up sending them back and got some hickvisions that have been flawless.

i got them off amazon and when i was talking with the "seller" they were real helpful and tested some stuff on their end. basically came to they didn't see an issue but idk they seemed to use a dahua nvr but for me the issue was setting the setting on the camera it self wasn't sticking. camera was the Dahua IPC-HDBW4631R-ZS 6MP.

Does this support any sort of patrolling?
@hometechvideo50685 жыл бұрын
By patrolling you mean where the camera goes to a preset after X amount of seconds then yes.

Do PTZ cameras require any additional cables or does it work just on the poe ethernet?
