I was thinking about how to (thematically) buff Bretonnia so as to make them less of a cookie-cutter faction. The simplest answer is to implement knightly virtues the same way marks of Chaos were introduced for Warriors of Chaos, with each virtue coming with some flavour of buff for the unit, for a balanceable cost, and with the ability to set how many virtues can be assigned across any one army in multiplayer. It would also be great if each unit with a virtue could adopt the relevant colours for the associated fief. - Audacity : Adaptive Tactics trait - Confidence : Encourage trait - Discipline : Devastating Flanker trait - Duty : Guardian trait - Empathy : foot knight or buff when close to peasant units - Heroism : increased BvL - Ideal : Martial Prowess trait (wh2 version) - Impetuous knight : Knockback trait (like the bretonnian Piggyback riders) - Joust : Ogre Charge trait - Knightly temper : Glorious Charge trait - Noble disdain : Increased shield block chance or missile resist - Penitent : Immune to Psychology trait - Purity : Magic Resist - Stoicism : By Our Blood trait Also please CA make Fay Enchantress a dual Life/Light caster and give damsel of Light. NB : I used some of the in-game names for traits, but hopefully all these effects would apply under the relevant virtue trait name.

Thematically, Joust would be cooler as Glorious Charge rather than Ogre Charge

@ClovenOnes I originally had Joust and Temper inverted. However, I thought that the skill with lances would be better represented by a trait that negates charge defense than a trait allows to keep dealing damage when in melee after a charge.

Hey thats me! I'm not an expert player and was going for a thematic fun build against rider as I didn't think I had a chance. 😅 I expected more men at arms and missiles and not a complete cav skew! I wanted to blend through the anvil and tie down the hammer. Once the game started I knew I was toast 😂

Are scourgerunners still a solid unit for DE? It's annoying when they all focus on the same cav model and waste their ammo.

Yeah they’re good in a kite focused build. Cold Ones, Dark Rider Crossbow, Scourgerunners and a Morathi with SS good for winning the cav battles.
