This video is from 1982 when Mr. Vernon was 88. He is simply talking to his pupils (and friends). At that age he had already shown everything, earning the respect of magicians and experts at the table from around the world. I have no doubt that your pass is totally invisible.

If you will listen he said it's does not matter how well you do it. He was setting people up. I.saw Vernon when I was a kid and he fried people. He also was one of the most influential magicians of the last century. In would venture your own interest would not exist without Vernon teaching and guiding. Back to the pass. It is also impossible to misdirect a camera. Even the best need misdirection to cover moves. Hey! Why am I wasting my breath?
