The comebacks,the insane mixups and the move at 10:28 killed Daigo. This battle showed that even a god of his size can crack. You can see that he lost the grip that had him getting close to victory and after the 3rd loss he just went downhill even dropping combos like at 14:15

At 18:42, why didn't Daigo use cr.mp (counter hit) + cr.mk + ex.fireball + fadc + ultra2?

Whenever anyone opts to not use their ultra it’s because they don’t think it’s going to swing the momentum of the round into their favor enough, as opposed to later in the round when the opponent may have lower life and may fear the ultra more and may actually die from the ultra combo. The other reason would probably be that he wanted to save that extra meter. 3 bars and an ultra is a lot of resource to use up. And in E Ryu’s case, that character is way scarier when he has 2+ bars of meter as opposed to 0 or 1 bc of his fadc damage potential.

+dudetheguy Typically, I would have preferred the use of the OS lunge punch since if Daigo teleported that Ultra OS gets blown up badly. If you use the OS lunge punch against back teleport, you can, by reaction, punish it Yun's with f+MP shoulder even after whiffing the lunge punch. Kazunoko frequently went to the OS lunge punch in his matches against Bonchan in the tournament. So I think Daigo tried to counter this OS with wakeup f+MK since this beats Yun's whiffing the cr.LK into OS lunge punch. I personally think Daigo tried to force Kazunoko not to use the OS since Daigo was focusing on wake up a lot (ex: 10:24 and 13:08). So using this type of OS even with the info was really impressive. Of course, take my words with a grain of salt since I am no where near these guys level or if I even properly understood the options they were using at that time.

5のCA補正は最大50%だけど、4のウルコンは補正がそのまま掛かる。このケースの最大はセビ3→ウルコン

セービングは普通の技とは違い一つ重めに補正がかかる(普通なら３コンボ目から80%に補正がかかるけどセビの場合は２コンボ目で80%になる。つまりセビは一発で２発コンボしたのと同じ補正)なのでもしかしたらと思って全く同じ状況を作って検証してみました。 378(ウメハラさんがやったやつ) 377(垂直飛びから爪コンするいつものやつ) 376(セビ３からの滅昇竜) 368(セビ３からの爪コン) というダメージでした。これで最大ですね。

STSF4 but evil ryu isnt even broken, hes just Better than every other shoto and has all the pluses of each of them, ONLY thing that makes regular ryu better is that he can out-fireball evil ryu Fei-long was broken because chicken wing > every move in the game Rose is not broken cause she won evo (ppl just mad cause she won) Gen is not broken cause he won evo Yun and Yang were + on divekick when they came out, yet they nerfed Yang so bad he became among the worst characters in the game, and Yun's divekick got nerfed yet its still good enough to do everything you could do before his nerf
