I personally fall in love with this engine because of no vibration at all. Suitable for daily drive. But the downside is this engine doesn't have variety of aftermarket product if you searching for high horsepower. This is why most of the Malaysians use efrl/efdet because of variety of performance product (many of the tuner already exceed 2++hp from that 660cc block) and most of the efdet parts can be interchangeable with ejde/efve engine parts (use in our perodua kelisa/kenari/perodua viva). Currently, still researching about this jbdet engine whether it can hold 100

In Japan, only connecting rod and crank bearings are available, but they are available.

Yes. Im using jb-det L952s on Mira L200. Many used engine from Japan here. If the engine fault, we change used engine. Here we cant rebuilt back because no source of new parts.
