From my small car experience, they all pick up power and torque with a set of headers and a 1-3/4 inch exhaust. I'm not sure if you have the 6 or 12 valve single cam engine but you can get headers out of Malaysia or you can make your own. I once did just over 1000 km in a 550 cc L60 Handi (Mira) over a two day period, the first 281 km was from the bottom of Tasmania to the top with an overnight trip on a large ferry ship and then the next day did the remaining 748 km over a 13 hour run. The engine was standard and unable to get over 90 km/h unless going downhill or following a large box truck. I understand your feelings on long travel but I would totally do it again too.

93 octane is not "better" gas. It will run better if you run the octane it is designed to use. GREAT videos. I really like the walking around the port videos. Keep up the great content.

Yeah unless you're driving a car with particularly high compression ratio (like a super/turbocharged engine), higher octane doesn't help.

From what I heard Japan uses better gas than us in America so our 93 is like their 87
@ThatMattWhite8 ай бұрын
@@Waybeforethefame When going from RON (EU/JP) to AKI (USA/CAN) you approximate it by just subtracting 5 (it's roughly x0.95). Found a couple forum posts from JDM owners years ago, they found regular gas in Japan is around RON90 according to JOMO Japan Energy, which is roughly 85-86AKI here.
@just_passing_through8 ай бұрын
Incorrect. The octane rating suggested is the ‘minimum’ octane the engine was built to take. You can use higher for slightly more power and a cleaner burn if you want. My Australian delivered 2003 MX-5 states on the fuel cap “minimum 95 octane”, but I’ve always used 98 octane for its entire 21 year life.

hello to you, and yes you have a 4 speed automatic, it's not made to drive at 100km/h on the highway. it's a city car and extra urban .. I would take some normal roads and sometimes the highway (saving time money), since it's a small engine and all I'm sure it prefers quieter roads .. than driving at +100km/h all the time, its engine must not like it too much, right?? .. I would enjoy on normal roads to see the cities and landscapes .. for me that's what road-tripping is .. I've already driven at 50km/h and that for 4 years, the time to be able to have the license .. but it's sure that if you had a 5-speed manual gearbox it would drive better and consume less and the engine would yell less, you would hear the engine screaming to death less vroooooommmmmmmm!!!!!!!!! to reach 100/110/120km/h ..... for your seat, why not buy a more comfortable seat with an armrest from a junkyard or second-hand (it just has to fit, you can always make modifications to make it fit.. I would like to know if you can sleep lying down in it, as there is no passenger seat could you install a small mattress or latex foam?? in one of my cars a Renault 4L F4 commercial I was able to sleep lying down in it, I travelled quite quietly with it, on one side I stored my equipment and on the other my mattress, I even made a canvas that attached to the roof and came to make like an ome in the back I could open the wing and be sheltered etc, it was cool at that time... have a good trip and have as much fun as possible.. bye see you later

Is it legal to take these state to state on a road trip? Even if its not legal in the state yours driving to?

@@Waybeforethefame do you ever get hassled on your road trips? Kind of want to do what you do and be a kei car enthusiast and do videos like you do

Talk about distracted driving lol And it just gets worse, love the cars, and you seem nice/make good content but the attitude to driving is scary. At least it’s a small K-car on a highway full of giant trucks and SUVs but still… Will sub for the content for now but yeah… the driving is… yeah… Otherwise the content is fine though, just don’t get yourself killed, find other ways to relieve the boredom of a naturally aspirated 3 cyclinder on highways made for big trucks :)
