I enjoy your videos, however you skipped over the whip and wiring. Could you offer any clairification on that. Either on the inside unit or outside?
@theairconditioningguy3 жыл бұрын
That's because these are not how to videos. With these videos I'm just trying to show potential customers the process and the end result. But as far as the wiring goes it's all in the installation instructions. Power goes to the outdoor unit then that one powers the indoor unit plus there's a communication wire that's all in the instructions. It's really quite simple.

I wonder, Juan, would it help if you run the line set to the left? Use this hole just for the drain and drill another hole on the left side and route the line set through there?

@josbrun5 жыл бұрын
The Air Conditioning Guy Yes, but you can bend the line set using your bender, and you make your connections inside! You make one smaller hole for the drain only, and 3” hole for the line set. I think I will try to do it that way. I’m afraid of putting a kink on the line.

They come with SOME refrigerant. You'll have to read the installation instructions of your particular manufacturer. If you install more line set than the unit has refrigerant you'll have to weigh in the rest using the chart in the installation instructions. It will read something like" x amount of ounces per ft of line set".
