A few years back, I had an idea. Record a visual mix on my first listen of an album. No prep, no second takes, no edits - just press play on the album, record the video and post it no matter what.
This had to be an artist whose music lives deep in my soul and truly inspires my everyday life. Not just an artist I casually listen to. Nah, I wanted this to be one of those artists I'll travel to see. I wanted the album to be one that us fans spend years waiting for - hearing the tracks in their infancy at live shows and dreaming of the day we'll be able to have a high quality version.
Daily Bread's Invisible Cinema exceeds that criteria. I'm truly grateful to have this album in my life - you could say I'm over the moon about it.
So here's the video I made on my first listen - no edits, straight out of Resolume as if I were VJ-ing at a venue - blemishes and all.
