Actually its the offset of the wheels, stock leaves the center of the tire right in line of the ball joints so they just wanna go straight, but with wide offset wheels it sticks them way out past the ball joints and allows it to have more leverage to turn under throttle causing the tie rod to buckle.

Didn't you hear, it's mandatory to have your tow mirrors extended all the way whether you're towing something or not. Kinda like if you have a light bar or some Hellas you have to run them even in day time.

@@w900kw2 I used to do a lot of pulling when I first got started in trees . I've got air bags on one and I've had Zero issues while pulling something. I've had 2 expeditions both 2001 and 3 spark plugs blow in the past 6 years while not loaded down. Every time they blow we haven't been hauling anything. Also changed the plugs on the side of the road in about 20 min.

I still don't understand why the guys with IFS don't use limiting straps to keep the front end down. Unless it's in the rules that they can't do that? Keep the axles and tie rods level helps keep them from breaking.

Upgraded tie rods and pitman idler arm support brackets fix this problem. I would know I own a GMC sierra

@@jonathoncatterson8901 sure that helps some. But when the front suspension droops the tires still toe in. Limiting straps keep everything nice and level plus takes stress off the idler and pitman arms.

Something simple like this. (Didn't even know it was something they sold now) we use to just take a limiting strap and run a longer bolt on the bottom shock mount and attach the strap there. Then drill hole in the upper shock tower and put an adjustable clevis there. Yeah, if we could all act like TV Stars. We would have more interviews and behind the scenes content. "Will, shut that camera off! This tire pressure is top secret. Hey you didn't show my throttle hand did you? That can't be seen by anybody." I heard all this stuff in just one night of pulling. Some pullers just like pulling they don't want to be famous or do the things to give you a better experience or possibly take the sport to the next level. But some pullers do! Some give interviews and don't care about how they sound, act, or look. Some pullers have the best stuff in their vehicles and dare others to beat them. We just want to know how they felt? How was the track? That kind of stuff.
