Daily Driving A HONDA S2000 | 8k Miles Later

i'm 6'2 235 and drove one for years with no issues getting in and out and my drivers seat was MINT when i sold it!

Currently a college student and thinking of getting one as my daily. I have a civic as a daily right now but want to take a chance on an s2000. Only models within my budget I can find have 180,000+ miles on them. Should I pull the trigger or save up more for a better model or even just stick to my current car

Save up. I’m in the same situation as you as well, and it’ll be more worth it once you find one with low mileage

No, it is definitely not the best daily. Other than reliability, it is not a good daily at all. It's loud, cramped, doesn't ride that well, doesn't have much torque, and has horrible visibility with the top up, and even top down, it's impossible to see traffic lights unless you lean forward. Add in the fact that it's not going to be useful in any cold climate and.......... Sincerely, a happy 2002 AP1 owner of 13 years.

Stock S2000 is better than any Miata build sorry 🤷‍♂️
