I thought this footage is from 1980s until I saw some new cars. Calcutta is truly stuck in late 70s or 80s. Unfortunately the area looks pretty dirty and rundown. Parents must be mad to let their children on that tin school bus rickshaw! 😮

Old video? Now everybody talks on mobile phone on road and here no such scene?? Spot 6.53 Mobile Phone shops are there, one company is not functional now.. In Calcutta a person can live with less money. Eatables are cheap. I stayed in Calcutta for a month only. Vegetarian hotels were less. Went to Kalighat Kali Temple. Communist flag and Kali Statue co-exist. Normal life. I think the first Metro underground train in India was run in Calcutta only. During 1970's the City was a place for employment for people from Southern States. I don't know the present status.
