Not everyone will be able to understand how important the moment of the meeting of the two ships was. I don't know when this episode was filmed, but the fact that ordinary people still treat each other like human beings and are happy to see each other touches my heart. There was a russian youtuber and vlogger Yan from TOPLES channel on the 50 years of victory ship. The episode from their trip just arrived on his channel some days ago, it's more a scientific and documentary video showing us the history, crew members stories and how certain things work. Also he made a proposal to his gf while being in the center of the Northern Pole, truly amazing.

This is one of my favorite series so far. Thank you for taking us along with you! This is weird but I cried when you guys were waving to the passengers on the other boat. I imagined that it was me,not seeing other human being for days in the middle of nowhere (aside from the passengers on your boat) and then all of sudden there’s this other boat with people waving enthusiastically at you. Like what Kara said, she felt connected to them. 😁

Kara and Nate, in fact, our meeting near the North Pole can really be considered historical. We, the passengers of the ship, were just as insanely pleased to meet you. (By the way, there were 66 most talented children from all over Russia on board the ship, and I am one of them 🙃🙃🙃) Thank you for the incredible videos, they allow me to plunge into those incredible days again and again and realize that the cold Arctic left the most heartwarming memories in my life, which are unlikely to ever be forgotten

@@s0steezy yep, Homo Science (created by Rosatom) is a platform for everyone who is interested in science. It must been the real good feeling to see another ship in the place like the North Pole where all you see when you look out is the ice . While that is very peaceful I can imagen how happy feeling it brings for to see more life and that big majestetic russian icebreakers with loads of scientist omboard and the whole lot is just so good. I seen a couple of icebreakers when I lived in Sweden and they are or were big. Some of them is now retired . You get a feeling of respect them and happyness over what they do and can do... Gives you such a security feeling and proundess over their work and courage it did to me.
